A masquerade ball brings together an NFL player and a penniless princess in this smart and sexy romance from Wall Street Journal bestselling author Ilsa Madden-Mills.
Levelheaded Francesca Lane never thought she’d miss her own wedding. But when her fiancé betrays her, she puts on her wedding dress and ditches the altar for a masquerade ball—at an exclusive lifestyle club.
There, she meets unknown-to-her NFL star Tuck Avery, dressed as a prince and hiding behind a mask—he’s there to celebrate his birthday. For one night, Francesca and Tuck indulge in a wickedly incognito affair. No names. No strings. And the masks don’t come off.
Unfortunately, Francesca realizes quickly that her masked prince is the wealthy jock who lives in the penthouse of her apartment building. His hobbies include parties and supermodels—or so the tabloids say. Getting tangled up with a shallow jerk is the last thing Francesca needs right now, so she vows to keep Tuck from recognizing her (not that she’s his type anyway).
But fate has a teeny-tiny trick up her sleeve…a plus sign on a pregnancy test. Can this tormented prince accept love, or will he push his princess away forever?

Wall Street Journal, New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Ilsa Madden-Mills is best known for her angsty new adult romances and romantic comedies.
Eight of her eleven novels have placed in the Amazon Top 10 Best-seller List: Dirty English #1; Fake Fiancée and I Dare You #2; I Bet You, Filthy English, and Very Bad Things #6; Boyfriend Bargain #8; The Last Guy, her collaboration with Tia Louise, #4.
A former high school English teacher, she adores all things Pride and Prejudice, and of course, Mr. Darcy is her ultimate hero.
She's addicted to frothy coffee beverages, cheesy magnets, and any book featuring unicorns and sword-wielding females. Feel free to stalk her online.

About the book:
Welcome to the world of Hawthorne Prep. A seemingly idyllic school where ivy clings to the thick stone walls and a wrought iron gate keeps out the townies who can’t afford to foot the hefty price tag.
Except…I’m one of those townies.
I don’t belong here.
Most of the time, I feel like an outsider with her face smashed against a windowpane while staring inside. It’s a lonely feeling. One I’ve gotten used to. There are times when I secretly wonder if I’ll make it through senior year intact.
But then someone comes along and turns my world upside down and inside out. He makes me feel things I never dreamed possible. There’s a possessiveness to the way he watches me, and it sets my nerves on edge.
Especially when it’s in front of my boyfriend.
The one I desperately want to break up with.
The very same one who will make my life hell if I try to pull the plug.
Steering clear of Austin Hawthorne is my only option. A little attempt at self-preservation. For both our sakes.
One night changes everything between us and has me believing in the possibility of something more.
Just as swiftly as I’m given hope, it all comes crashing down around my head, making me a pawn in a game between two boys who will stop at nothing to take each other down.
Betrayal. Blackmail. Revenge.
How is it that those three words now rule my life?

Another Christmas From Hell
R.L. Mathewson
(Neighbor from Hell, #13)
Publication date: November 4th 2022
Genres: Adult, Comedy, Contemporary, Romance
The last thing that he wanted was to fall in love with his brother’s best friend.
From New York Time’s bestselling author R.L. Mathewson comes the next installment in the disturbingly funny romantic comedy series, Neighbor from Hell.
It was time to move on.
Granted, Cayley would have preferred to wait until after Christmas, but with her best friend somehow managing to get her fired and evicted in the same day, she had no choice but to move into the apartment across from the man that really didn’t seem happy to see her.
That was fine.
More than fine because if she could handle her best friend making her life a living hell and an ex-fiancé that was determined to get her back, then she could handle the man that was willing to do whatever it took to let the past destroy them both.
He couldn’t believe this was happening again.
For years, Bryce had been going out of his way to avoid Cayley, hoping that she would finally move on, but now that she was back, he realized that he no longer had a choice.
He was going to have to break her heart.
At least that was the plan until the little brat turned the tables on him, making him wonder how much longer he was going to be able to lie to himself even as one thing became painfully clear…
This was going to be the worst Christmas ever.

Excerpt
“You were always following me,” Bryce
bit out as he followed her inside.
“Is that…is that Bryce?” Sean asked, sounding intrigued. “Do
not hang up the phone, woman!”
“When?” Cayley found herself asking,
unable to help but frown as she struggled to figure out what the hell he was
talking about.
“When we were kids, you followed me
everywhere. You were always at the house,” Bryce said, looking incredibly
pissed as he glared at her over the kitchen island.
“Because your brother wouldn’t stop
dragging me over there,” Cayley said, unable to help but wonder where he was
going with this.
“I really wouldn’t,” came the heartfelt sigh from the
bastard that was going to pay for this.
“You followed me to school every day,”
Bryce said, folding his obscenely large arms over his chest while he glared at
her, daring her to argue with him.
“We went to the same school. How the
hell was I supposed to get there?” Cayley asked with a helpless shrug.
“You were always trying to hold my
hand,” he bit out between clenched teeth.
“Yeah, when I was six and wasn’t
allowed to cross the street by myself.”
“You always made it a point of sitting
next to me at dinner.”
“Because that was the only empty chair
at the table?” Cayley said, reaching up to rub her temple as she felt a
headache coming on.
“Why did you show up at every job site
I went to after school?” Bryce demanded.
“Because your annoying little brother
threatened to put snakes in my bed if I didn’t bring him baked goods from my
aunt’s bakery every day,” Cayley snapped, deciding that she was going to need
caffeine to get through this asinine conversation.
“I really did,” Sean murmured, sounding quite pleased
with the direction this conversation was headed while Cayley began searching
through her refrigerator for a Coke.
“Then explain why you’re renting the
apartment across from me and why we’re now working at the same job,” came the
demand as Cayley frantically searched through her fridge for her much-needed
caffeine fix only to resign herself to making another trip to the store.
“Because the jerk face that I’m really
wondering why I’m friends with got me evicted over an order of chicken tenders
and got me fired on the same day because he can’t keep his dirty little hands
to himself and left me with no choice but to beg your brother-in-law for a job
and a place to stay,” Cayley snapped as she closed the refrigerator door.
There was a heartfelt sigh, and then
Sean was mumbling, “Memories.”
Grumbling, and really wondering why she
was friends with the big jerk that was making her life a living hell and couldn’t
keep his greedy little hands off her Coke, Cayley grabbed a pen off the counter
and made her way back to her kitchen island, where she wrote “Find a new BFF”
on her to-do list.
“You better not have done why I think
you just did,”
came the warning that had her smiling.
“Oh, but I really did,” Cayley said,
angrily slamming the pen down on the kitchen island and-
Suddenly found herself cornered by a
very large and very angry James brother.
“You’re in love with me,” Bryce said,
placing his hands on the counter on either side of her and caged her in as he
glared down at her.
Blinking, Cayley asked, “How are you
getting that from what I just said?”
“Because he’s crazy,” came the murmured whisper in her ear
that had her rolling her eyes.
Keeping his eyes locked on her, Bryce
plucked the phone out of her hand and ended the call before placing the phone
on the counter.
“You’re always watching me,” Bryce bit
out.
“Because you’re always glaring at me,”
Cayley pointed out.

This
series has been funny, I pick the book up and I can't remember anything about
the previous books or characters and then before I've even finished the first
chapter it all comes flooding back. And I completely love that they are all
told at the same time as each of their own perspectives, with each of their own
things. Yet we still got to see the other couples at key moments.
Morgan
and James don't seem like they should work on paper. But then as you dig
beneath the perfect ice queen veneer you see that James is the perfect person
to bring out her real. Although he had a few "dumb teenage boy"
moments where I really needed him to give better grovel. He was a genuinely
good and caring guy with his feet firmly on the ground.
I
really enjoyed the story. And even though it was told in dual point of view
Morgan was the star of the story for me. Watching her come through everything
and get her confidence and self-worth back was beautiful. There were a few
things I would have liked to see closed out a little more or differently or I
don't even know, I think I just want more.

Nothing says forever like two pink lines!
Presley
After my sisters’ disastrous weddings, I’m never going to get married.
I’ll just stay single forever.
It doesn’t matter that I’m in love with my brother’s best friend.
Or that Bennett and I shouldn’t even be friends with benefits.
Until the positive sign tells me I’m pregnant.
Bennett
I fell in love with Presley when she was eighteen and asked me for a favor.
She didn’t want to go to college a virgin.
I said no, but she kissed me, and I was lost in her.
Years later, I’ll take her with any rules she gives me.
She thinks this is just a fling. She’s wrong.
Because she’s always been mine to love.
