If Only You Knew, an all-new steamy small town romance with depth by Alexa Rivers is available now!

Single mother Bex Cane doesn’t have time for love. It’s hard enough managing three jobs and her precocious five-year-old daughter Izzy. Fortunately, she has all the support she needs from her friends and family in Haven Bay. A man would only complicate things. But when her ex’s brother moves to the area and discovers the truth about Izzy, he throws Bex’s life into a tailspin.
Michael Briggston never thought he’d see Bex again. Not after she dumped his brother and walked out of their lives. Considering how close he’d come to making a fool of himself by proclaiming his love for her when she was unavailable, he’d been happy to see the end of temptation. But now she’s back in his life, and he can’t help noticing that her daughter looks an awful lot like his brother. He’ll get to the bottom of the mystery—even if it stirs feelings he’d thought long dead.
Despite their history, Bex and Michael can’t resist the spark between them. But when Michael’s brother arrives in the bay, can their unexpected passion survive?

Excerpt
Michael freaking Briggston.
If Bex didn’t have a class to teach, she’d have been gone the minute Andy Hollister released them from the staff meeting. Her friend Shane, also a teacher, had cast concerned glances at her during the meeting, noting her tension, but she hadn’t been able to bring herself to acknowledge him. She’d been too terrified. Every part of her was rigid, and the voice in her head
screamed to pull Izzy from class, take her home, lock the door, and hold her close. Or to run and never look back.
Had the Briggstons finally discovered the truth?
No. She shook her head. She was being crazy. If they had, Wesley or his mother, Imogen, would be here rather than Michael. Her hands trembled as she sifted through the papers on her desk, trying to recall what she’d planned for this morning. Her students would be arriving any
minute now. God, she could hardly gather her scattered thoughts together, how was she going to make it through?
Michael was here. He was her boss.
He’d be living in Haven Bay, shopping at the minimart, walking on her favorite beach.
What if he saw Izzy? If he put two and two together and alerted his family, the Briggstons would descend on the town in force. She shuddered, her mouth going dry at the thought of seeing
Imogen again. That old witch-with-a-B had always put the fear of God into her, even if she’d never allowed it to show.
The door swung open and she jumped, a hand to her chest as kids began to wander in and claim seats.
Take it down a notch, Bex.
First things first. She needed to survive the morning, and then she’d figure out what to do. She laughed mirthlessly, drawing stares from some of the students. Yeah, that was likely.
Somehow, in between training her clients at the gym, finishing her commissioned painting, finding the plush kiwi her daughter had lost, doing a week’s worth of laundry, and visiting the grocery store, she’d find time to sit down with a glass of wine and think through the implications of Michael Briggston being in Haven Bay.
Time was one thing she didn’t have.
A second bell rang, signaling the beginning of class, and she smoothed her hands down her skirt, straightened her shoulders, and plastered a smile on her face.
“Hi everyone! I hope you all had lots of fun over the weekend. Now, for today, you’ll need to get yourself a smock from the corner because we’re going to be working with clay.”
The toothy grins from twenty-five ten-year-olds made up for the extra time it would take to put their creations through the kiln. She didn’t let them use clay often, but when she did, it was the most excited she ever saw them. Unfortunately, their obvious pleasure couldn’t erase the events of the morning from her mind, and by the time they were tidying up, she’d glanced out the window on no less than twenty occasions and was itching to get the hell out of there.
When class ended, she ushered them out, hung the discarded smocks up, and wiped down the benches. She had just slung her handbag over her shoulder to leave—with half a mind to take Izzy with her—when the door opened, and Michael Briggston walked in.

I read Let’s Get Textual in January 2020 and promptly added I Wanna Text You Up to my KU library with plans to read it right away, but then life got in the way. And every time I would get the dreaded “you have too many books in your KU library” message I couldn’t bring myself to return this one to make room because I HAD to read it. I so enjoyed the writing of the last one and as full length introductions to new authors went it was perfect. Because I had first read some of Teagan Hunter’s works in the team player anthology and needed more.
Now I gotta admit I couldn’t remember a lot of the previous book. I just remember that Zoe’s BFF had previously dated this guy before she met her books hero and they had parted very amicably. And now said BFF was moving out and leaving Zoe to find a new roommate. Which was where Caleb came in.
I did have a moments doubt because, girl code, but then I was pretty sure that wasn’t going to be an issue with the way Caleb and his ex broke it off. And luckily it wasn’t. However, it also wasn’t ignored and I loved the way that Zoe approached it. The major drama was actually Caleb being a bit of a wussy pillow. The stunt he pulled towards the end of the book would have had me leaving his clothes on the curb. But Zoe was more mature than that and very understanding.
I did listen to the whisper sync version of this, and I think it left me a little confused at times as there was obviously a fair amount of texting going back and forth that I wasn’t seeing. But it wasn’t anything major just every now and then the narrator would say Caleb and I would be like what? Then realise it was a text from him. The voice was good. And easy to follow. I wish we had gotten Caleb’s POV but meh it wasn’t really needed he just needed to use his big boy words more.
Now I’m off to add the next book to my KU library and hopefully I can get to it before next year. Kisses

I’m done with dating.
Happily-ever-after isn’t in the cards for me, so I’m officially taking myself off the market.
Hockey is my mecca.
The arena my temple.
The ice the altar I worship at.
Then…I met her.
Strip me naked and run me over with a Zamboni—she’s the textbook definition of a bad love match.
Amara Miller, beyond beautiful and effortlessly drawing me into her orbit and making it impossible to resist her.
AMARA
It should have been a simple cross-country move.
Instead, it sent me crashing—quite literally—into the captain of Coach’s new hockey team.
Did I mention he was half-naked when it happened?
It doesn’t matter that he’s sexy as sin and the swooniest motherpucker I’ve ever met.
I will not lust after hockey players.
Been there.
Done that.
Bought the maternity shirt.
And Ryan Donnelly? He’s pretty much Mr. Hockey.
The problem is, I’m not the only one enamored with him—my kid is too.
It’s turning into a problem, because this mama doesn’t have time to play games when it comes to our hearts.
Scoring Beauty is a sporty, sexy romcom featuring a hot-mess (at least in her eyes) single mom who’s about to knock this swoony motherpucking hockey player on his very fine behind. This interconnected stand-alone comes complete with your favorite can’t-mind-their-own-business Covenettes, a next generation trying their hands at the matchmaking shenanigans, and a guaranteed happily-ever-after.
Alley Ciz is an internationally bestselling indie author of sassy heroines and the alpha men that fall on their knees for them. She is a romance junkie whose love for books turned into her telling the stories of the crazies who live in her head…even if they don’t know how to stay in their lane.
This Potterhead can typically be found in the wild wearing a funny T-shirt, connected to an IV drip of coffee, stuffing her face with pizza and tacos, chasing behind her 3 minis, all while her 95lb yellow lab—the best behaved child—watches on in amusement.
Gah I can't believe we finally got Ryan's book. I want to go back and read it again for the first time. Firstly, because Cap is just so sweet and swoony and secondly because Amara was perfect for him. Seriously those two are not just couple goals but also mum goals and man goals and just all the things’ dreams are made of.
Since the first book of Alley's that I picked up I have been hooked and each book just builds my obsession. I think Alley needs to appreciate the fact I'm on the other side of the world and can't raid her trash cans for her thrown out notes. Everything about her words work for me. I always read this book and want to be a Covenette before remembering that my happy place is at home reading because of the lack of people.
But in regard to this particular book all I can say is ……. Sigh. It was just awesome. I loved that Amara was this kick arse single mum to one hell of a cool son. And obviously Ryan wasn't even slightly worried about Amara having said son. The fact that Mav fit in so well with Carlee and Sean just nailed it. Then you have Amara's besties basically being coven 2.0 the relationship was just destined.
However, the absolute best thing was the fact that Amara brought the Winter soldier into things. When Cap started getting all growly and bossy I was even more in lust. Because there is nothing hotter than a really good guy being all alpha and in charge. And now I'm off to jump my own. Kisses

Avery Spark is living her best life. Between her friends, her sisters, and Spark House, the event hotel her family owns, she doesn’t have much time for anything else, especially relationships. She’d rather hang out with her best friend and roommate, Declan McCormick, than deal with the dating scene. But everything changes when she is in a car accident and needs someone to care for her as she heals.
Declan avoids relationships, giving him a playboy reputation that he lives up to when he puts a one-night stand ahead of a promise he made to Avery. While he may not have been the one driving the car, he feels responsible for Avery’s injuries and is determined to make it up to her by stepping into the role of caretaker.
Little did they know that the more time they spend in compromising positions, the attraction they’ve been refusing to acknowledge becomes impossible to ignore. When they finally give in to the spark between them, neither is prepared for the consequences. Their love is fragile and all it will take is a blow from the past to shatter it all.

“That doesn’t look very friendly.” I nod in their direction.
“Maybe the horses need a time-out,” Harley mutters.
I give her the side-eye, and she fights a smirk.
“Uh-oh, we have hand and hobbyhorse flailing,” London says, pulling my attention back to the field. The argument seems to be heating up, not cooling down.
“You need to deal with that.” London gives my shoulder a shove. She’s amazing with finances and she’s great at connecting me with the right vendors, but dealing with conflict is not her strong suit.
“Not in the mood to mediate stuffed horses?” I drop my bag on the ground beside Harley’s feet and briskly cross the field as the argument escalates to yelling. I’m about twenty feet away when one of the men hauls off and whacks the other one with his hobbyhorse.
“Whoa! Whoa! Gentlemen! Time-out. That’s not very sportsmanlike conduct!” I call.
My admonishment goes unheeded, and the two men begin dueling with their hobbyhorses. The bigger of the two jabs the other man in the stomach and snatches his hobbyhorse when he loses his grip on it.
“Gentlemen! Please!” I shout, but it’s hard to be heard over their yelling and the newly formed crowd of hobbyhorse enthusiasts who have gathered and are now heckling the fighters.
Two other men toss their hobbyhorses to the hobbyhorse-less man with shouts of “Kick his ass!”
And here I thought this was a chill sport. Apparently I’m very, very wrong.
The hobbyhorsers face off again, each one holding a broom horse between their legs and another like . . . a sword, maybe? It reminds me of medieval jousting. Especially when they start stomping their feet, pawing at the ground, and prancing in place. I know things are about to escalate when they shake their heads back and forth, braying loudly and breathing out through their noses in a hardy snort.
Then they run toward each other, while yelling. Even if they’re beating on each other with stuffed horse heads, I’m not interested in anyone ending up with a concussion.
I jump in between them before they collide, which I realize a second too late puts me in a very perilous position. However, the man on my right swerves at the last second and ends up crashing into the trough, toppling it and at least half a dozen of the “feeding” hobbyhorses. The other man skids to a stop mere inches from me, loses his balance, and falls backwards onto the ground. It rained yesterday, so while it’s sunny and dry now, the ground is still soft and mucky. And he happens to land in a seriously squishy pile of muddy grass.
He also manages to hit himself in the family jewels with the hobbyhorse. He rolls onto his side, clutching the muddy horsehead and his junk. It’s quite the spectacle. Before it turns into absolute mayhem, I grab the megaphone from the group MC and shout, “Whoa, Nelly!” like an idiot.
However, it does the trick. Every single one of them freezes. “Rider number seventeen and twenty-three, you are disqualified from this round for roughhousing and inappropriate use of your hobbyhorse!” I’m totally making this up on the fly, but someone needs to get these guys under control, and they don’t seem to be able to manage it on their own.
The guy who nut slapped himself—number twenty-three—picks himself up off the ground and hobbles gingerly over to the bench, which is now assigned to disqualified hobbyhorsers. Number seventeen throws himself down on the other end with a huff.
I lower the megaphone and cross my arms. “This is supposed to be about team building and sharing something you’re passionate about. If you want to joust, I suggest you either join a club or interview for a position at Medieval Times.”
