Blurb
Dear Diary,
I might have gotten myself into a wee bit of trouble—and I'm not talking about the "court mandated community service," or “therapy sessions from bashing a bloke in the head" kind of trouble.
I wish it were that simple.
Nope. I’m talking about the "falling in love with one of my client's daughters,” kind of trouble . . .
The kind of problem I can’t talk my way out of when the truth gets out.
How I ended up with her phone is a long story—and when she called to get it back, I took things a bit too far. One innocent exchange wound up leading to so much more.
Fun, new, and totally immune to my charm, Sutton is different. And I had no idea she was the daughter of Foster Green.
Blame it on the dark colored stout running through my veins, pushing me toward one bad decision after another. Pushing me toward her even though I know right from wrong; even though she's my client's daughter.
Dating her might be the best or worst decision I've ever made. Only time, whiskey, and one more roll around the mattress with her will tell.

So I actually really did end up enjoying this book but weirdly, despite the fact that I enjoyed it and couldn't put it down all I can focus on are the things that bugged me. Maybe that's the Bianca Del Rio show I just walked out of making me want to call everyone names ( love her).
Like how for the first 30% Sutton was a complete doormat and I wanted to slap her. But then she finally grew a backbone only to lose it when it came to her father. Thankfully it came back strong at the end and having her acknowledge the fact she got it from Roark helped.
But omg her dad. He was such a hypocritical douche and no one called him out on it. Seriously hold up a freaking mirror.
I loved Roark so hard. But then I am a sucker for an arsehole and an accent. He actually knew he was a jerk and made no apologies for it. Watching him man up and reading his diary entries and his inner monologue was so much fun and made me fall for him so hard. He made the story for me.
The ending with Sutton’s dad felt a little rushed and I would have liked a little look into Roark and Sutton’s future but overall it was a solid 4 star read that I highly recommend, just be prepared for a little hair pulling frustration.

My husband is a mad baller, our son has also taken to it in a major way. So much so that we have some form of basketball related activity six days a week. And I have to admit their obsession has rubbed off on me and has started to affect my reading tastes. I have always loved college sport romances but normally it's football or hockey. However when I read the blurb for the first book in this series I had to have it and I freaking loved it so hard.
Then I got right onto the second and third books and loved those so when book four finally came out I one clicked it. But for some reason it just didn't appeal until finally I decided I had to read it. I got about 10% in and decided it just wasn't for me. And it really upset me. But when this book came out I got my grabby hands out and dove in without checking the blurb.
And I am so glad I did. I fell so hard for this story. Both Mica and Lance had moments where I loved them and moments when I was annoyed or didn't particularly like them and I think that's part of why I so thoroughly enjoyed the story. They were real, they made me feel and they felt like 20 year olds trying to figure out who they were.
It had me flipping the pages so fast to see if the drama was going to be fixed in a way that would make me fall for them or would make me stabby. And while Lance had some major issues that I wasn't a massive fan of the way he dealt with them I still loved the way he sorted his shit. Mica had her own issues but I felt she was blowing hers out of proportion and if not for the way she loved Lance I probably wouldn't have liked her.
But in the end I loved them both and I seriously can't wait to get my hands on the spin off. As soon as Sierra started to set that up in here I got so excited. Can't freaking wait.

This is the first book I have read from this author and I have to wonder what rock I have been living under. I saw this on my GoodReads feed before it was released and added it to the pile. When the dreaded what to read next hit I saw this one had been released on Kindle Unlimited, checked out the reviews and started reading and got so deeply sucked in I couldn't put it down.
The writing style reminds me of a less wordy Kristen Ashley and I loved it. Eden was so kick arse, I immediately loved her and was so invested in her I actually didn't like Lincoln for a while for not immediately seeing how amazing she was. But then I suppose i fg he had it would have been a pretty boring book.
Lincoln had me warming up to him pretty quickly. He had the whole, possessive, over protective alpha thing nailed. And even when I wanted someone to slap him upside his head I still wanted him to win over Eden and give her the forever she deserved.
And now that I have discovered the writing of Jessica Prince I am off to stalk her books to answer today's dreaded what to read next.

Oh My God Katy that was pure evil. Like it hasn’t been hard enough not to scream out spoilers while reading this book and ruining the surprise of who Courtney marries you throw in a cliffhanger and I have to wait 2 freaking months to find out what is going to happen. I read those dreaded words “The End” and wondered what cruel trickery this was? But nope when I turned the page there was no just kidding, instead there was an introduction to Arrange Us and I nearly cried.
So if you read the blurb you know Courtney is sick of the whole meat market. All she wants is to skip along to the happily ever after already, so she takes matters into her own hands to get the ball rolling. And despite the fact that I think she is crazy I can respect her choices. She knows what she wants and she goes after it hard, letting nothing get in her way and honestly that all took some serious lady balls because some of those hurdles would have had me flat on my back.
And even though I had a fairly firm idea of where this was all leading I still was hanging on every word dying to see how it was all going to play out. Courtney was the best female character I have read in a while and I fell for her immediately. And even though I liked her husband she was still the star of the show for me. I am hoping that we will get to see her husband in a slightly better light in the next book. Not that he wasn’t great in this one just I prefer my men a little more sure and possessive and he had moments he felt a little wishy washy but that might just be me.
Anyway I really enjoyed this book and the concept as a whole was awesome. And now I am off to cry and moan on Katy’s messenger about how mean and nasty it is to leave me on an unexpected cliffhanger, especially one I have to sit on for 2 long as hell months. And yes I probably should have checked GoodReads before I dove in but it was Katy Regnery so I just jumped on in.

He’s a billionaire single dad who needs help.
She’s a sassy single gal who needs work.
Live-in nanny? What could go wrong?
Remington Key: I left the Navy, scored a billion in tech, got married, and had a baby. I did everything by the book. Happily ever after, right?
Fast-forward four years, and I’m alone, raising my daughter, caring for my mother-in-law, and trying to keep my stuff together. How did this happen?
I was clearly drunk the night I offered a gorgeous girl in a bar $500 a day to be my live-in nanny. Or maybe it was my dick talking.
So what if I’ve been alone since forever? I’m focused on launching my new business, not bedding the sexy siren who sleeps down the hall.
At least that’s what I keep reminding myself…
Ruby Banks: Remington Key is distant, brooding, and ridiculously sexy. And when he scoops up his adorable four-year-old daughter Lillie and blows raspberries on her tummy while she squeals with delight, my ovaries literally explode.
Bumping into him at our local pub that night slightly drunk and overly frustrated was a total accident. He needed help, and it was the Christian thing to help a man in need. Right?
Only, Remington Key does not make me feel very Christ-like… No matter how committed I am to being a responsible employee.
(A small-town STAND-ALONE CONTEMPORARY Romantic Comedy. This is Ruby and Remi's hilariously adorable love story.)

Release Date: March 1, 2019
Blurb
Mission: Survive my best friend's wedding, where I must play
nice with my ex and his perfect new girlfriend.
Strategy: Bring the hottest fake boyfriend on the planet.
Target: Grady Rock. Master Baker. Dimples. Muscles. The
unicorn of fake boyfriends.
Complication: Wyatt Morgan. My brother's best friend. My
sworn enemy. Military man. Sexy as hell single dad. The man I let into my
panties for one night of hot hate sex after my ex dumped me before my life fell
apart.
And the man who just scared off that perfect fake boyfriend.
By pretending to be my real boyfriend.
I can roll with this though. What’s the harm in Flirting
with the Frenemy if it helps me get the job done?
Complete my mission and move on.
Or so I thought.
Until Wyatt kisses me again and I start feeling things
I shouldn't.
The thing about weddings...nothing ever goes as planned.
Flirting with the Frenemy is a rollicking fun romantic
comedy featuring a single dad military man, an irritatingly attractive blast
from his past, pirates, cursing parrots, and a wedding gone wild. It stands
alone with no cheating or cliffhangers.
