I feel like I'm on a complete whoops baby binge at the minute and it's all just been a very happy coincidence. Because honestly, I just saw that Sara Ney had a new Trophy Boyfriend book to read and I was there for it. I didn't know it was Tripp and Buzz's little sister, which I probably should have, I just dove in.
And I couldn't come up for air until I got to the end. And the epilogue was so gooey sweet, I put the book down with a big grin on my face. Although to be honest I'm pretty sure I wore that for most of the time I was reading the book.
True was a pretty cool main character, which obviously she would have to be to put up with Buzz her whole life. And I loved how much of Tripp and Buzz we got all through the book, and Molly because I seriously love that girl. But Mateo made the whole story. He was fan yourself hot and sooo sweet and just mmmmm. And he had his own interfering, overbearing family issues with his 6 sisters.
I really loved it. There was so much fun, and family and it was so drama free I just got to kick back and smile and laugh and watch it all unfold. I can't wait to see what we are getting next.

Hard head. Bad attitude. Terrible boyfriend. That’s what my exes have said about me—but I wasn’t serious about any of them, so what do I care what rumors they spread? What I need is to be left alone; by the press, by the paparazzi, and by women.
Too bad I’m about to be surrounded by them for the weekend. My obnoxious, matchmaking brother is getting married, and he’s doing his damndest find me a wedding date…
That’s what they say about good men—they’re hard to find. Not that when I find one, I’ll be the type he’s looking for; too nice, too ordinary, too boring.
My cousin is getting married, and her fiancé insists on throwing me at his brother. Cold, uncaring professional football player Tripp Wallace would never look twice at a woman like me. Too bad for both of us, I was wrong…

After finishing Hard Fall, I had this idea of how Tripp was going to be. I really liked Buzz and all of his quirkiness and I had an impression that Tripp was going to be just like him but maybe more competitive. I also thought Buzz was going to be more present in this story. And I was wrong on all counts. And i kind of missed Buzz and his kind of crazy.
Because to be honest Tripp was kind of hard to relate to. He was so moody and closed off and came across as a bit of a selfish jerk. Luckily for me the book was told in dual point of view and we got to see that he was just a socially awkward idiot.
Chandler wasn't who I would have expected for Tripp but I warmed up to her and I loved that she was her own kind of socially awkward. And I really loved that she held Tripp accountable for his actions.
Chewy was super cute, but the star of the show was Tripp's neighbour, Molly. She was hilarious. And having her write the epilogue was perfect but now I am dying to get my hands on the next book in the series.
I
was super excited to see that the second book in the Trophy Boyfriends series
was Trace “Buzz” Wallace. I loved him so much in the previous book and I was
hoping he would meet his match and cop a heap of trouble from Noah and Miranda
as payback for all the Buzzness he put them through because man is he a
character and a half.
Even
in his own story he was larger than life. In a way that felt like it would be
painful if you didn’t know how absolutely caring and sincere he could be.
Everything about Trace has you either wanting to smack him in the head or tear
his clothes off and climb on. And his relationship with Hollis was on point.
Hollis
was utterly unique in her world. She had spent so much time being on the
outside but close enough to know how it all worked and to know that she wanted
more. And Trace was so much more. I could honestly wax poetic about how much I
loved this couple. Although I do have to admit I’m a little disappointed that
we didn’t get more of Mirada and Noah. And I was really hoping for a little
more drama from his craziness but then again what I got was pretty perfect so I
am not complaining just wanting more.
Of
course, getting Trace 2.0 in his brother Tripp’s story next should be just as
entertaining. And we can only hope that his family will be slightly more
hilarious especially since I am sure Trace will give him a hard time for coming
second. I really can’t wait.

That’s what the last girl I slept with said when she got her first sober glimpse of me. She laughed, walked out of my penthouse—and I never saw her again. It doesn’t matter that I’m a rich, professional athlete; what mattered was my face.
I was so excited to get my grabby hands on this. A sports romance from Sara Ney has my one click finger twitching hard. And that blurb had me even more excited. Seriously a jock who isn't full of himself or think he's gods gift is a hero I want to read.
Noah more than met my expectations. He was sensitive without being too soft. And I loved the contradictions of his character, it made him relatable despite his career and bank balance. It was really nice to have the hero as the insecure one for a change. Sara wrote him so perfectly that he didn't come across as a whiny cry baby …… much.
And of course his relationship with Buzz helped too.
Miranda was great. She just rolled with the punches and didn't get caught up in the things that could have caused petty problems. And I loved that she was freaked about what he was worth but didn't make it an issue.
The secondary characters were a lot of fun and added so much to the story. I really hope we get a lot more of them in the coming books. Partially because this one didn't give me nearly enough couple time. And I want to see more of these guys together but also because Buzz is such a nut job. Not only will he be awesome value in his own book but I think Noah and Miranda owe him a hard time or two.
For now I'm off to obsess over who we are going to get next.
