Sara Ney

Release Date: January 28th 2025

Blurb

USA Today bestselling author Sara Ney sizzles with a quick-witted, sexy romp about an eager entrepreneur and a cocky football star who couldn’t be more different—or more into each other.

Harlow James is destined to rock the dating world. The creator of Kissmet, the app helping singles find love, she’s in New York to secure advertisers. But the sassy, small-town girl can’t help meddling in other people’s business.

When she runs into a muscular stranger at her go-to food truck, Harlow doesn’t realize he’s Landon “Andy” Burke, the NFL’s most-wanted free agent, in town to talk contracts. She just sees a hottie about to get burned by undercooked street food. Though she tries to warn him, he shrugs her off, making a little wager instead.

In a messy twist of fate, Andy finds himself in the same hotel as Harlow. When she collects on their bet, they make a mind-blowing—and bed-rocking—connection. But after the weekend, she goes home to Green Bay to her goofy dad and corgi, ready to focus everything on work again. Kissmet, however, has other ideas, when Andy knocks on her door…

AVAILABLE IN KINDLE UNLIMITED

When a squirrel chews its way through my bedroom wall, I do the first thing any single girl like me would do: run screaming out of the house to the neighbors, begging for help.

I should mention that the house next door is full of hockey players. And when I lock eyes on rough and rugged Brodie Stockhausen—who happens to be outside brooding on the porch—I’m not exactly impressed.

But I’m desperate, in a bathrobe, and need a bit of rescuing.

Soon I’m begging for his help with more than just squirrel duty and DIY projects. I want his attention and his touch—not just his friendship!

I want what every girl wants: him lying in his bed at night, so desperate for me that he’s willing to scale two stories to sneak into my window. Hey, a girl can dream…

But Brodie has a secret; one that leaves me wanting more every time we’re together but has him pulling away…

It feels like it's been so long since I've read a Sara Ney book. And when I read the blurb for this, I was so excited. So here I was on a nice quiet Sunday thinking I'd read a few chapters before I did some housework and 6 hours later, I've accomplished nothing except finishing the book. Oh, and laughing randomly like a lunatic.

I'm not sure what exactly I was expecting when I started this story, but it was seriously laugh out loud at moments. Lizzy was my sort of leading lady. I liked that she wasn't scared to be herself and ask the awkward questions. But from the first meeting of Brodie, I was in love. His little inner monologues were so similar to things that come out of my husband's mouth. I loved it.

I think we are still all semi conditioned in our thinking of generally everything but especially gender roles. And I loved Brodie acknowledging that he didn't want to do it just because he was wielding a penis. Snake coming for us my hubby's got this; mouse, well let's hope he can get off the bench and stop screaming once I've gotten it outside. People see this six foot, muscled, meathead and are shocked that he's so confident in stepping back and handing me the tools. So, listening to Brodie moaning in his head about toxic masculinity absolutely made my day.

The whole course of their relationship was so sweet and against the usual flow. I couldn't get enough of it. And I seriously can't wait to see what everyone else thinks of Brodie and Lizzy.

HOW TO SCORE OFF FIELD

Sara Ney

Release Date: September 15

FREE IN KINDLE UNLIMITED

I, Drew Colter, have a confession to make…I’m burnt out and need a break.

From school, from football—from living with roommates, my obnoxious twin brother and our older brothers girlfriend. The only person who I can talk to these days is my best friend from high school, and he’s back in our hometown and halfway across the country. Somehow he convinces me that maybe…

…Maybe it’s time to take a trip. Party. Have some fun.

That fun does not include his sister.

Long black hair and even longer legs, Tess Donahue had lost the braces and gained the confidence she never had as a teenager. She’s hilarious, pretty—and when I see her in those cowboy boots?

Whoa.

Stolen glances. Flirty banter. One drunk filled night.

Suddenly, my uncomplicated weekend of ‘living a little’ in my hometown becomes a lifetime being tied to the one girl that was off limits.

Ahhh we finally get Drew's book, and I couldn't put it down. I've been dying to read Drew's story since we got such a tease in Drake's book. He was just so sensitive and seemed more in touch with his emotions and with everything he was going through I was looking forward to seeing how it all played out for him.

And I am a little disappointed because I still don't actually know. It feels like so much happened in this book and yet it is just the beginning of the story. And I can't decide if I love that or hate it because I need more. I want to know how Drew is feeling about his future. I want to know if he is still unsure about football as his future. And I want to know what happens next with his love life.

Tess was perfect for Drew. I loved that she had crushed on him forever. I kind of wish that he had known how she felt beforehand, but the way it played out was kind of cute. There were so many twists and turns and ups and downs I just couldn't wait to see what was next. I feel like I need another book with everything settled and out on the table. So we can all just bask in their happily ever after.

Now I am going to obsess over how the whole story went. And think about all the other ways it could have gone. Because I really loved both Tess and Drew and they were awesome together, but it feels like they didn't get a break and then the book was over, and I just need more. I need to watch them stroll off into the sunset madly in love with a future all planned out or starting.

HOW TO WIN THE GIRL

Sara Ney

Release Date: May 24

FREE IN KINDLE UNLIMITED

I, Drake Colter, solemnly swear I do not want a girlfriend…

Carefree and ridiculously good-looking, I have the entire student body eating from the palm of my hand—shouldn’t I let the ladies on campus have their fill rather than being tied down? If only my brother Drew would take notes from my playbook. As identical twins, we share the same voice, the same face, and the same physique; it’s virtually impossible to tell us apart—but that’s where the similarities end.

Lately, my brother has been whining about wanting to settle down with. He longs for affection, companionship and all the bullshit that goes along with it blah blah blah. Problem is, he’s hopeless when it comes to dating. It’s seriously embarrassing to watch, considering we’re identical; everyone thinks I’m him and everyone thinks he’s me.

Luckily I’m not intimidated by woman and have plenty of experience. I might not want to find myself a girlfriend, but that don’t mean I can’t help him. Dude never needs to know!

And that’s the very thing that lands me in trouble…

Ahh!!! I have honestly been waiting for this book forever and yet I completely didn't expect THIS story. For starters there's only four Colter brothers and Drake still would have been my fifth choice of hero. Not because of anything other than the fact he was such a dedicated little manwhore running after the girls next door and driving his family nuts.

When we first met Daisy, I could see her being set up with Duke and Drake being the fly in the ointment. But as the book unfolded, I forgot all about Duke and couldn't get enough of Drake. Because man he was so clueless and yet it was kind of endearing.

Daisy's take no prisoners attitude and the way she called him on his cluelessness was not only exactly what he needed but also extremely entertaining. And her absolute lack of drama queen was refreshing for a new adult novel. She fits in perfectly with Ryann and Posey and I can see them all sitting around making the brothers sweat.

I can't wait to get Duke's story. I feel like he has the deeper layers of the twins. Plus, I just want more. This series has been a fun ride.

So, I read this series well out of order and honestly it didn’t really matter. Each of them works perfectly as standalones and the previous couples in them aren’t really major parts of each story so it was just a fact that each one kind of set up the next one’s introduction. And I honestly don’t know why I didn’t read this one when it was released. I grabbed the next one when it was popping up everywhere and didn’t realise it was part of this series before I was part way in and then the mentions of Eli had me wanting to go back and read this, so I did.

But I actually struggled a little bit with reading this. I think mainly due to the timing of me reading it. It’s back to school here for the tribe and we have 2-year-old twins staying with us and I am very distracted, and I just couldn’t get lost in the book. I was waiting for the big twist at the end for most of the book and the first 80% of the book felt like it kind of dragged out. The twist was predictable, but I was dying to know how it was going to play out. I just wanted it to happen sooner.

Eli and Molly were both really likeable characters, and I liked the development of their relationship. It felt like a real meet cute and then just a really natural progression. I also enjoyed the way they dealt with things like adults. Even when they didn’t talk about it immediately it wasn’t because they were being petty or avoiding it, it was just the way they were dealing.

I really wish that I had read this book at a different time so I could have given it more of my attention and I probably would have enjoyed it more. But for now, it is what it is.
