So Mica was all that I had hoped. But OMG did he make me cry. That poor guy had been through so much I just wanted to wrap him up and keep him safe. But he spent all of his time trying to protect and help everyone around him.
And although it was all about Mica for me when I first picked this up I fell in love with Charlie pretty quickly. She was so sweet and even though she was trying to protect herself from being hurt she didn't hide it or play games. She admitted to her feelings and didn't expect anything from Mica he wasn't prepared or able to give her.
I really loved the series and I read the little teaser for the next book before racing to Amazon and discovering it's not out yet and I can't find it anywhere so now I am having a tantrum because I was super excited to dive into Krista's book.
I hate waiting !!!!!

Ok so this one was even better than the first one. But I think that's in part because I went in super excited to keep reading this series and I knew what to expect from the authors writing style. But then again it could have been because of Ryan and Zoe.
Zoe was one of those characters that I instantly liked and felt protective of. And I loved that Ryan felt the same way but he still had reservations and everything happened organically.

SO I was in the mood for a sports romance but I have read most of the usual suspects. After a lot of searching I came across this one on KU and it sounded like the perfect read for my mood. Odette being a new to me author meant I went into it with some apprehension.
It wasn't long before I was completely sucked in. There were a few moments where I thought the drama was getting to be a little much but I was so invested I quickly got over that and held my breath waiting to see how it was going to play out.
I loved Max and Rory. They had such great chemistry from their first meeting. And I loved that with everything going on they both acted with maturity. And watching Max go all protective alpha, while trying to maintain the secrecy of their relationship was awesome.
I am so happy that this is a KU series so I can head on over to binge the rest of the books.
