The Cad and the Co-Ed
by L.H. Cosway and Penny Reid
Rugby #3
Publication Date: TBA
Genres: New Adult, Contmporary, Romance, Humor
THE CAD
Bryan Leech is a cad.
Or, he *was* a cad.
No one is quite certain.
Once the quintessential playboy, Bryan claims he’s done with wild parties and weekend benders. No more one night stands leading to mornings he can’t remember; no more binges and blackouts; no more exploits plastered all over the tabloids and rag sheets. According to Bryan, he’s cleaning up his act.
The only problem is, no one believes him.
THE CO-ED
Eilish Cassidy never thought she’d be a mother at nineteen or still in college at twenty-four. Cut off from every member of her family except her favorite cousin, she’s finally managed put her life back together. Stronger and wiser, Eilish enters her last semester of university determined to stand on her own. Now she just needs to find an internship.
The only problem is, her best option—by far—places her directly in the path of her son’s father, and he doesn’t remember her at all.
THE PLAN
Bryan is determined to prove he’s changed. Eager to settle down with the right woman, he’s got his sights set on the gorgeous redhead who seems terribly familiar.
Eilish is determined to hide her secret. She’ll do anything to keep her child safe, even if that means ignoring her own wishes and desires.
But what happens when Bryan starts to remember? And what will it take for Bryan to convince the girl he forgot that she’s unforgettable?
About L.H. Cosway
L.H. Cosway has a BA in English Literature and Greek and Roman Civilisation, and an MA in Postcolonial Literature. She lives in Dublin city. Her inspiration to write comes from music. Her favorite things in life include writing stories, vintage clothing, dark cabaret music, food, musical comedy, and of course, books. She thinks that imperfect people are the most interesting kind. They tell the best stories.About Penny Reid
SEX! It all started with sex, between my parents. Personally I don’t like thinking about it, but whatever works for you is a-ok with me. No judgment. The sex happened in California and much of my life also occurred in that state until I moved from the land of nuts (almonds), wine, silicon… boobs, and heavy traffic to the southeast US. Like most writers I like to write, but let’s get back to sex. Eventually I married and gave birth to 2 small people-children (boy-6, girl-4 as of this writing). By day I’m a biomedical researcher with focus on rare diseases. By night I’m a knitter, sewer, lino block carver, fabric printer, soap maker, and general crafter. By the wee hours of the morning or when I’m intoxicated I love to listen to the voices in my head and let them tell me stories. I hope you enjoy their stories.Giveaway

Was there ever any doubt this book would be awesome?
After the perfection of The Hooker and the Hermit and the blurb I was so
excited to dive right into this one and now I am hanging out for the next one
after that too brief teaser.
I have to admit that even though I skimmed the
blurb and loved the first book it took me a while to remember them both from it
and when it all clicked (let’s be honest it was more like when they led me by
the hand) who they were and how they were kinda connected I was so incredibly
excited to see how it was all going to play out I just couldn’t put the book
down.
And damn did it just keep getting better and
better as I got further into the book. I love that even though these are sports
romance and there is a lot of sexy sportsmen in them as well as several sports
references I, who do not like rugby, was able to fall in love with it and not
once be taken away from the romance and the characters.
The combination of these two authors is an
absolute recipe for gold. And their characters are perfect in all their flaws
and they are so realistically written I feel like I could catch up with them
for coffee and discuss the weather.
I adored Lucy and her approach to everything
was so genuine I couldn’t fault her even when she acted like an idiot or didn’t
act how I wanted her to act.
But of course the star of the show was Sean and
despite the fact he was a douche man whore I expected to hate and maybe warm up
to by the end he had me hooked from the beginning. I loved that we saw his
faults in blaring clarity and why he was how he was but he didn’t make excuses
or pretend he wasn’t an arsehole he just went with it. And even though he was
mortified by his issue he was able to ask for help.
The fact that once he knew how he felt there
was no doubt in his mind of what he wanted and he never once wavered or did
anything to cast any doubt on it. And despite his douchy reputation he was such
a perfect book boyfriend I just want him for myself.
I honestly can’t recommend this series any
harder. It has loads of laugh out loud moments, steamy sex scenes, sexual tension
and an incredibly well written plot and characters it would be hard to find a
better way to spend an arvo.
