Synopsis
She’s looking for someone with a rich character, not bank account…

Emma’s life has not been easy. Rather than using her disadvantages as a crutch, they have fueled her passion for helping others. She believes in working hard, loves her brother unconditionally, and has no time in her busy life for a certain cocky playboy who has obviously never been denied a thing in his life.

He’s searching for something, but isn’t sure what…

Brody may come across as a fast-talking rich boy with a sweet car. He’s secured a position in the hottest frat on campus and has the attitude of a guy who’s never known what it’s like to go without. So, yeah, it’s a pretty accurate description. But there’s more to the youngest Temple brother than meets the eye.

When Brody keeps showing up in Emma’s world, her initial assumption is that he’s still playing games. As his confessions come to light, Emma starts to see beneath the surface. Will it be enough to change her perception of him? And will she be able to teach Brody that love is worth more than all his money can buy?

So I picked up Frat House Confessions: Ridge and promptly fell in love with the storyline and the writing and immediately dove into the next one then had to wait forever to get my hands on Brody’s story. But in each of the books I’ve gotten to know each of the characters a little better and as we’ve progressed the secondary characters have become more important to me.

However Brody being the baby of the Temple boys we didn’t really know much except he was slightly neglected yet spoilt beyond reason and he lived the carefree life of someone who had nothing to worry about except their own self indulgence. So I was a little nervous as to how I was going to like him. But I shouldn’t have been worried because as usual he was everything that I could have hoped for and more. Partly because he had realised how empty his life was especially since he could no longer fill his days in the same manner but also because despite his self indulgent ways he was a genuinely sweet caring guy who had finally grown up and seen beyond himself.

Emma naturally was beautiful inside and out. From the minute she stormed into the frat to tear them all new ones for hurting her brother I was a massive fan of hers. She was so self assured and confident and had been looking after herself for so long I just wanted to wrap her up in a blanket and love her. But she was so busy taking care of everyone around her she didn’t want to be looked after.

The relationship between these two was so cute. They were both all in yet afraid to be let down like they had been by their loved ones before. Luckily they were both in the same position and neither of them was afraid to talk and express their feelings so there was no unnecessary drama to drive me nuts and I am even more keen to get my hands on the rest of the series because I am loving the characters and the writing. And I am loving catching up with them all in each book.

It's moments like these I really appreciate KU. As soon as I put down Ridges book I automatically jumped on over and grabbed Wes's story. And even though I had a fairly good idea of what I was getting into I enjoyed the writing and the story.

I already knew Wes was the sensitive one of the brothers and I knew what Trixie had done to him. But I was really keen to see how they were going to get over all that. And to see what they were going to be dealing with when it came to the frat.

I really enjoyed the story and I liked that there was a fair bit of depth in them getting together. And I'm glad we got heaps of Ridge and Karrie and the brothers relationship getting even stronger. And I am excited to read Emma and Brody's book and hopefully get a HEA for Pappi.

But since that's forever away I guess I will go stalk the sisters books.

I had such a need for a good college sports romance I spent ages looking through my TBR pile and nothing was jumping out. So I headed to KU and for some reason this one had me one clicking and diving right in.

Since this is the first book I have read from Bethany Lopez I wasn't sure what to expect but I was wrapped from the first chapter. I really love a reformed playboy acehole and Ridge was all that and then some.

But he was so upfront and honest with Karrie, i immediately liked him. Sure he was a bit of a jerk but he really did have valid reasons and watching him open up to Karrie was so cute, since he was so clueless.

I really enjoyed the story and I am absolutely going to be grabbing the rest of the series off KU and then adding the sisters stories to my TBR because this absolutely hit my craving right on the head.
