I have been waiting for this book since Logan's surprise entrance and announcement. Add in the fact that Logan is an MMA fighter, and I was so looking forward to hearing all about their Vegas wedding. I'm loving this series so much.

Nikki, being the gossip queen, being the centre of the paparazzi storm was a fitting turn around. And I loved how much more there was to her. I did not expect for her to have dealt with everything that had happened to her family so personally. Especially since I had already read the previous books in the series and thought I knew what had happened.

But naturally the star of the story was Logan Stone. That man was as sweet as he was sexy and I fell for him from the beginning. And I loved seeing his mum and getting to see where his kind, caring and spiritual side came from. Everything about Logan was beautiful and I could read him all day.

This has been a perfect addition to the series and the teaser at the end of the epilogue was as intriguing as this one. I can't wait to get my hands on that book.

So I needed a secret baby romance for the Covenette’s January book challenge. And honestly, it's not my favourite trope. Because obviously there is a reason that the baby is a secret and the couple isn't together. So, I need to be in a certain mood to deal with the angst and drama.

Naturally, I spent an hour searching through GoodReads for one that tickled my fancy before I stumbled upon this one. And to be honest I couldn't even tell you why this was the one. Except I read a handful of reviews and the little see inside prologue on Amazon and I one clicked it.

First, I have to say this worked so well for me. Cam was a strong, independent woman and I loved that she was so confident in her own ability. She had amazing support in her Aunt but she worked to make an awesome life for her and Gigi.

Zeus was great too. And although the way everything played out wasn't entirely his fault, he still took ownership of it and worked to fix it. He gave a good grovel and he was such a genuinely nice guy.

I'm so glad I did pick this up and now I am dying to read Apollo's book.

When I read the blurb for Outmatched I immediately added it to my TBR. I really love the whole nerd girl, sports romance. And then the fake boyfriend addition was just icing on my yummy boxer cake. What I didn't realise was that it was co written by Kristen Callihan, whos Game On series I devoured.

So after I one clicked the book and learnt all that, I was even more excited. And I was not disappointed. From the first page I couldn't put it down. Both characters were so sweet and even though they started off on the wrong foot they were still just nice, likeable people who didn't act like p r i c k s.

There also wasn't insta love. They got to know each other and it all flowed really naturally without anything feeling rushed. And although there were a few misunderstandings they talked like adults and just made me like them even more.

Parker and Rhys just clicked and the chemistry was hot but they were adults with their own lives and histories and issues so there was a lot of depth to the story as well. I seriously loved them both and this collaboration between these two authors was amazing. I really hope they decide to turn this into a series because there were also some really awesome secondary characters I would love to see more of.

This series just continues to get better and better with every book. I picked up the first one on a whim, then HAD to read the second one and I begged to get my hands on the third. Honestly there's so much to love.

First there's the coven, then there's all the hot AF athletes, the awesome banter, the hilarious text conversations. And that's before you mention the sizzling hot chemistry and even hotter sex scenes.

The insta lust between Vince and Holly was so strong yet I felt every second of it. Vince turned into the perfect, growly, possessive alpha but having been well trained by the covenettes he managed to be all soft and sensitive at the same time.

So not only do we have the super sweet relationship between Vince and Holly but we also got a huge heaping of the entire coven crew. And now I am off to stalk Alley to see what couple we are getting next and how long we have to wait.

I stumbled across this author's debut novel by complete accident but it sounded like my kinda story so I signed up for an ARC and I can honestly say I am so happy I did. And when the opportunity came along to sign up for her second book in the series I was right there. Sadly my goldfish memory kicked in and I picked up this book to read it and had completely forgotten that
A) it was part of a series and
B) who it was about.

Luckily for me as I started reading it all came flooding back and I was so hooked up in the characters and their story I really couldn’t have put it down if I had to. Before I rant any further on how much I love this group of friends and family I first want to mention the fact this is told in third person which is almost an anomaly in itself. So few books are written that way any more that normally it takes me a bit to get into the swing of things but not so in this book.

From the first page I had a serious girl crush on Rocky and “The Coven” and then I fell madly in love with Gage. I love sports romance and it has been way too long since I have read a good MMA hero. Gage was the perfect mix of sexy AF muscled man and sweet and sensitive boyfriend. I loved him so much. And the way he cared for and supported Rocky was so sweet without taking away from how much of a kickarse chick she was just added extra icing to his Henry Cavill looks.

Rocky was awesome and having the background from her close knit group of friends and family just added so much extra dimension to her. And as I read more the different secondary characters all came back to me and I remembered why I signed up for this book as soon as I put the last book down. This group of friends is exactly the group of friends I would want to be surrounded by, you know if I wasn’t an introvert with too many kids and extremely codependent of my husband. Oh well it was fun reading about them and pretending they were real for a few hours anyway and I can’t wait til November to get my hands on the next book in the series.

First I feel like I need to confess I have not read any of the welcome to the point series. I got this from KU thinking it was a complete standalone then I saw it ties in to that series I got a bit nervous but having read it as a standalone I can say it was awesome. I am sure if I had read the other books I probably would have been excited figuring out who the boss and the devil were but now I am just anxious to read there books.

See I even somewhat randomly one click KU books so I went to get one to read only to be informed I already had 10. So I figured I would read them and now I am kicking myself that I didn't do it earlier. I loved it. It was so well written and the characters were awesome.

Solo was just gah. I can't even try to explain how beautiful he is. He had such a heart of gold all wrapped up in his prickly barbed wire exterior. But he was so sweet to Orley and I loved how he loved Noble. And quietly took care of everyone around him.

And poor sweet Orley. She was the ultimate mumma bear and my mind was racing trying to guess what she was hiding from. And I have to tell you I was miles off. Noble was so adorable I can see why Solo fell in love with her so quickly.

But seriously this was an awesome standalone read I had to hold my eyelids open to finish because there was no way I was going to sleep without these guys getting their HEA.

I was so excited for the release of this book. I am so addicted to the Briarcrest Academy Series and I absolutely love the way Ilsa writes I knew that Dirty English would be amazing. And seriously how could it not be? Sexy, tattooed, English, fighter? May as well just take a hose to my panties before I even turn on my kindle with all that to look forward to.

"Get away from the hotness and tell your ovaries to settle down, my brain yelled"

And damn did Dirty English deliver. And the cover doesn’t hurt either.

From the very start of the prologue I was completely sucked in. I felt instant respect for this beautiful broken girl who was so determined to live life by her own rules and not let her past dictate her future. She was the perfect new adult heroine.

Elizabeth had so many reasons to sit back and enjoy her own private pity party and there were so many times in this book she had reason to throw her hands up and say “Fuck it all.” And although she had moments of stubborn stupidity she was never one of those annoying pain in the ass characters that seem to be so common in college romance.

And of course Declan was perfection. But then who could ever doubt he would be? I actually spent the whole book trying to picture his sexy British accent every time he called her love. He had multiple moments I wanted to kick him in the dick but I think stupidity often strikes men in love so it was easy to forgive him, especially being inside his head and knowing what he is thinking and feeling when he is acting like a jack ass.

As always with Ilsa’s books the secondary characters are awesome and even though I hated half of them I loved the interactions between them all. And Shelley and Dax were the perfect balance of loyal support and ass kicking realism with a healthy dose of humour to make me love them.

But I have to be honest I have already developed a serious wet spot for Dax, so although this is currently a standalone I seriously hope we get a book or hell even a novella for him sooner rather than later. Please?

Wow this book was awesome. I am absolutely blown away that it was Missy's debut novel. I admit I picked it up for the cover but it had me sucked in almost immediately.

Jewel was amazing. I was expecting a weak, damaged young lady and was delighted to receive a fighter through and through. I mean sure she had some weaknesses and some weak moments but after everything she had been through she was incredible.

And her friends and families love and support was perfect. I absolutely loved them all to pieces

But of course the star of the book, the reason I read romances, was of course Asher. Holy fuck was he perfection on a stick. Not only did he go above and beyond for jewel but he was just an all round great guy.

This book had a lot of terrible things happen to the characters but the way it was written was so uplifting. They were survivors and never once did I feel sorry for them or feel like they were victims.

And watching Asher help Jewel on her journey and fight for her at every step I fell madly in love with yet another perfect book boyfriend.

This is a must read book for everybody. Seriously you have to go one click this right now and fall in love with Jewel & Asher

I wasn't sure Fighting Shadows could live up to the feels and depth of emotion Fighting Silence made me feel. And I was so worried about how Flint was going to deal with his feelings for Eliza I really went into this book feeling a crazy mix of hope and stomach churning apprehension. I mean honestly Fighting Silence was pretty damn close to perfection (naked pics of Till throughout would have nailed it if your wondering what more I could need) and the ending finished off Eliza and Till's story so perfectly I honestly didn't need more, but when I saw this one damn did I want it.

So we go into this book with a bit of background on Flint, if you have read the first book ( this isn't a must but you would be doing yourself an injustice just cause it's amaze balls) and absolutely nothing on Ash except for our brief introduction to the absolute douchery of her father in book one. And her introduction was perfect.

So there I was from the beginning, tears running down my face as I fell back under the spell of this amazing author and had the flawless love story of Ash and Flint played out in my hands in such a way that they now share real estate with Eliza and Till in my heart.

Flint is one of the wonderful Page brothers, who have literally dragged themselves up from nothing and fought for everything they have. And at every turn they are put through hell. Flint escaped the hearing loss that Till and Quarry have inherited, only to throw himself in front of a bullet to save Eliza.

But rather than sulk and moan his paralysis he is trapped in his guilt over his forbidden feelings for his brothers wife. So he does what he thinks he has to and leaves the family to get his shit together.

But life always has to throw more shit on these boys shovels and a new drama is presented for them to fight. But with it comes Ash and from the first moment she meets Flint she is captivated.

Ash is a character like no other. The girl had so many quirks and such an amazing, giving heart it is hard not to fall for her. Not that she really gave Flint any other option, if he had tried to resist that is. Of course if you have read the blurb you know Ash is a runner, like Flint she has spent her whole life fighting but never had anyone fight for her and doesn't realise she is worth fighting for.

Luckily for Ash, Flint knows she is worth fighting for and when she runs he chases. And he just further proves how amazing the Page boys are.

And now having been teased with the start of poor Quinn's story I am already heartbroken and very impatiently holding my breath for that to be released.

But for now if you haven't yet one click this right now and if you didn't read Fighting Silence grab that as well, find a comfy spot to curl up and be sure to take your tissues cause these are my top two must read, ugly cries of the year.

Wow this book was absolutely amazing.

Katy’s writing is flawless and I love the way she crafts her stories so perfectly. But I went into this one a little apprehensive. I saw a review from a GR friend that stated there was a plot twist at 75% and themes she couldn’t handle and by 25% I was already so invested in Holden and Griselda and all they had gone through I was scared it would destroy me.

Holden and Griselda had been through so much they did a few things that would normally piss me off a little and maybe my reaction to them doing it is a little wrong but I found it very easy to forgive their mistakes. From the first I felt their connection. They were bonded not just by their shared experiences but also to the depth of their souls.

The book is told in the present day with flashes back to their lives when they first met, through their time in captivity to their separation. However even once they find each other and are reunited they still have to fight to earn their HEA and watching all that happened to get there broke my heart while making me believe in that soul deep love that is the reason I read these books in the first place.

These books are legitimate stand-alones and you don’t need to read them in any given order. For my review on The Vixen and the Vet please click the link below.
