Every book C.P. Smith has written I have loved. There is something about the way she captures the characters and makes me invested in them from the first page. Add in the suspense and drama of the story and I can't put her books down.

This book, however, I think is my favourite of hers. And I am praying it's going to be a series because almost everyone of the secondary characters deserves their own story. There wasn't a single thing about this book that didn't work for me.

Skylar and Logan are right up there as one of my all time favourite couples. I loved their instant connection and I felt their soul deep love. Skylar was so strong and working so hard to keep it all together that she didn't take a breath and look up to see just how much love and support she had. But Logan stole my heart with how fiercely he loved her.

Everything about Logan made him the amazing character he was. He had walked through fire to get to his slice of heaven and no one deserved it more. The fact he walked so perfectly into not just Skylar's life and heart but that of the whole town was beautiful to watch.

I really am hoping to see all of these amazing people get their own happily ever after. Especially after being teased with all their connections through out this book. And I would really love to see Josh and Jake get their future dreams. Who am I kidding? I want it all now please.

I finished Until Joe and remembered I hadn't read book three in the wallflowers  series. Don't even ask why not as I have no idea. I think it's because I had to wait and I had forgotten what had happened in the previous two so I just kept putting it off. But after I put down Until Joe I just needed more C.P. Smith so I jumped on Amazon and it was a KU title so I jumped right in.

So yeah that was my Sunday. Because once I picked it up I was completely immersed in all things wallflowers and their Neanderthal, alpha men. I don't know how I forgot how obsessed I was with this series but OMG I loved it.

Poppy was such a sweetheart and for everything she went through she was forged in fire. I loved how she brought everything back to book tropes and storylines. She was hilarious and sweet and everything about her made me love her.

But naturally I am in serious love with Nate aka Bodacious Bar Owner. He can throw me over his shoulder any day. Aside from the fact he is physically flawless, his jealous, protective care of Poppy was beautiful. I loved these two as a couple so much.

And even with all the tropes Poppy pointed out for us going on in this story I couldn't get enough. Everything worked so well together and was resolved so perfectly I couldn't be happier. I can't wait to see the next book in the series and see which of our wallflowers is having a highland wedding.

I feel like I have waited forever for this book to be released but considering the circumstances I feel bad for complaining. But I honestly couldn't have gotten it too soon. It's like C.P. Smith and Aurora Rose Reynolds have the same ability to see into my psyche and write the perfect books for me.

So when they combine for the Happily Ever Alpha series it's heaven. Joe lived up to the standards of all the alphas in both the Wallflower series and the Until series. He had the whole growling, possessive thing down and I loved that he was the first one to admit he messed up, when he did.

Bernice I vaguely remember from the wallflower series and I now really want to do a re-read. She was the ultimate mix of southern charm and kickarse awesomeness. And I love, love, loved that she never flew off the handle when things happened.

They were such a perfect couple and their maturity added so much to the story. They both had real life baggage that they dealt with without unnecessary drama and they just got on with their own crazy, normal real life, wallflower style.

This was such a great cross over I don't think I can get enough. And I am hoping that all of the well wishes of C.P.s fans have reached the right ears and her son's recovery continues and I only mean that partially selfishly, so we can get more of her awesome words, honest.

So as soon as I put down Three of a Kind I immediately had to start Double Trouble and I can honestly say the high standard I was expecting was met. The book kicked off with a short prologue then jumps right in where we left off.

I do have to admit I had a moment of doubt when I thought I knew where the story was going and I was expecting drama central but I was way off and got nothing at all that I expected. I ended up on the edge of my seat trying to guess what was going on and the plot twists were so perfect I didn't see them coming.

Of course I already knew I loved Sienna and Colt and since we were so thoroughly introduced to them in book 1 I felt like we were old mates. And because the wallflowers are so tight we got an amazing continuation of the first couple. In fact it just flows so beautifully it was like the first story just continued from a different point of view.

The almost cliff-hanger at the end of this was awesome. I absolutely did not see that coming and it has me so desperate for Poppy's book I am going to be stalking C.P. Smith like a crazy person.

If you are a fan of Kristen Ashley then this is your new favourite author.

I don't know how I managed to forget how much I love C.P. Smith's writing. I have read and obsessed over every one of her other novels and when this one was released I flaked. And now that I have read it (devoured it in one sitting while swearing to my husband I was going to put it down in a second (#sorrynotsorry)) I want to go back and kick myself for not reading it sooner.

First, I have to say that for me this book was like reading Kristen Ashley with a Southern accent. The theme worked to perfection. The characters were engaging. The secondary characters were great. There was not a single thing that I didn't love.

Calla was so beautiful inside and out. I couldn't have loved her more. Her personality and attitude had me so invested in her I felt like we were old friends.

Devin OMFG Devin. I love that they spent the whole book comparing him to a romance novel hero and he just kept knocking it out of the park. I mean seriously he growled, got jealous and possessive and had the whole alpha thing down.

And despite the fact there was a fair bit going on, the way it was written made it all flow so smoothly. Now I just have to wait to watch the rest of the wallflowers bloom.

If anyone had ever asked me what could improve a C.P. Smith novel I would have said a massive unequivocal nothing. I mean it’s like she has the direct link to every one of my personal panty melting buttons. But then what does she have to go and do? Prove me wrong by going one better and adding in The Princess Bride.

SEAL’s who can quote The Princess Bride.

 Seriously.
Sexy, muscled, badass SEAL’s quoting the Princess Bride.

As with every CP Smith book we got suspense, drama, insta-love, a macho alpha badass hero, a sweet but sassy heroine, awesome secondary characters and a gripping storyline you can’t put down. Then throw in rescue dogs, the Dread Pirate Roberts, Miracle Max and Mr Montoya and I am pretty sure my pleasure sensors hit overload and exploded.

This book was just Fucking perfection. I really feel like that’s enough said.

You have to one click this right now and dive right in you will thank me for it.

OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Holy debut novel batman! This author is the newest Kristen Ashley and her alpha's will make panties melt across the world. If you’re like me that last line has you already searching for it on amazon but hold up the link is at the bottom.

As soon as Tara said it was alpha we all pulled on our big girl panties and dove in and I couldn't be happier.

I went to bed last night thinking I would only read a few pages to help me sleep in the 30˚C weather and ended up reading til 5am, I just couldn't put it down.

Jack was everything an alpha should be and them some. With his bossy, growly, monosyllabic babe laden  conversations along with his need to protect HIS woman he was perfect.

And Jenn was everything I love in a heroine. She was super sassy, mature and very much a take no prisoners chick who would not be told what to do no matter if it was what she had planned to do anyway.

I loved the dynamic and chemistry between these 2 and I loved their baggage and their lack of personal drama. The secondary characters were awesome complete with a 70 year old nympho co-worker who gives me hope for a longer sex life than anticipated.

"You’re a dirty whore and I want to be you when I grow up."

All around this book was a major win in every aspect and should be on the bookshelf of any Kristen Ashley fan or alpha male loving book whore.

Before you dive into this book make sure you have a full survival kit

 Several pairs of dry panties
A vibrator charged and ready to go
 A bulk pack of batteries
A private area to enjoy it.
