I can't believe that's the end of the Western Wildcats. I feel like there's still a few characters I need to get the stories of and I'm praying that they will be the stars of the next series. I'm even more excited for the cameos we've been promised.
The little wrap up that Bridger did towards the end of the book actually gave me a huge warm fuzzy and made me want to barricade myself away to binge the series from the start. But alas the kids are crafty and honestly I'm surprised their spider senses didn't kick in when I was reading the last 10% like it normally does.
Holland and Bridger felt like they were a long time coming and simultaneously instant. The history was something I would have liked a bit more detail on but then it also wasn't needed. Because they had tension for days and seeing it explode was hot.
Holland was such a boss bitch. It was easy to like her. Bridger had been so broken-down over the random messages and as much as I wanted Holland to kick him I also wanted her to wrap him up and love him. They both so desperately needed someone to care for them in such vastly different ways it was the perfect combination. And Bridger's possessive jealousy was just icing on top.
And despite how much I will miss these guys it's beautiful to see where they have all ended up and I am going to be first in line to read what I'm hoping is Steele's book next. Please?
