This novella feels like a Valentine’s Day present to the author's fans. It's so cute and sweet and has just enough going on to keep you intrigued but not so much it's distracting from the romance.

Beckett and Everly have a complicated history and initially I was very anti Beckett and I couldn't understand why Everly could feel anything for him. Then I remembered that their history was not only history but based on one incident when they were 17. And God please don't anyone judge me on the stupid shit I did at 17.

And then the chefs kiss, cherry on top, Beckett pulled out all the sweetness and gave amazing grovel and I wanted to throw my pants at him. And everything that had been going on in the background was all tied together in one of those beautiful bows.
