So Real by Abby Millsaps is now live!
Nothing
more.
When I met
British billionaire Kabir Spencer at Splice London, he promised me an
unforgettable night and nothing more. One night turned into a string of
encounters, each one hotter than the next.
As our
dynamic evolved, Spence helped me explore a side of myself I didn’t know
existed until the moment I uttered the words Yes, Sir.
Then my
secrets and my sorrow became too much to bear, and I well and truly broke.
During my
lowest of lows, Spence cared for me in all the ways I needed.
Now, he’s
come to my rescue once again, though he dropped a bomb of a secret when he
arrived.
I have a lot
of explaining to do to my current boyfriend and my
ex-boyfriend-slash-stepbrother, but I’ll have plenty of time to get to it while
we’re trapped together in the mountains for the holidays.
As if that
isn’t enough, my narcissistic mother is back in town, and she and my stepfather
will be joining us, too.
Nothing
more didn’t last.
Nothing I love ever stays.
It’s for the
best. It’s only a matter of time before the possessiveness and sizzling tension
between the three men in my life reach a boiling point and start to feel too
real.
So
Real is the second book in the Boys of South Chapel series. It is a steamy
second chance why choose romance that must be read in order. A full list of
tropes and triggers can be found on the author’s website.

Meet Abby
Abby Millsaps is an author and storyteller who's been obsessed with writing
romance since middle school. In eighth grade, she failed to qualify for the
Power of the Pen State Championships because all her submissions contained the
same theme: young people falling in love. #LookAtHerNow
She's best known for writing unapologetically angsty romance that causes
emotional damage for her readers. Abby prides herself in writing authentic
characters while weaving mental health, chronic illness, and neurodiverse representation
into the fabric of her stories.
Abby met her husband at a house party the summer before her freshman year of
college. He had a secret pizza stashed in the trunk of his car that he was
saving for a midnight snack--how was she supposed to resist that level of
golden retriever energy and preparedness? When Abby isn't writing, she's
reading, traveling, and raising her three daughters.

Honestly, I
don’t think Sarina Bowen could write anything that wasn’t amazing. I don’t even
know how to put into words how truly perfect her characters are in the most
genuine, real, warts and all kinds of ways. From the moment a new book is
announced I just know I am going to live in it from the first page to the very
last word. Because she has built the most amazing small town, with the most
beautiful hearted people who are all sort of interconnected but not so much
that it doesn’t feel authentic. It all just feels like she is sitting in the
middle of a small-town cafe and writing the tales of all the people that live
there and I am completely here for it.
Nash and
Livia were no different and yet were so unique in their own personalities and
problems and life dramas. I couldn’t get enough of the chemistry between them,
and I love that they had this random little initial meeting that set the match
for the inevitable explosion between them. The story was so sweet and there
were so many things that needed to be resolved and the chemistry was so hot I
jumped my poor husband on his way passed.
I really
loved the book and it all flowed so naturally but with so much happening that
all felt so believable I never wanted to put it down. The Giltmaker’s are
definitely a family that I can relate to in their dysfunction and love. I’m so
glad that Livia gets to have that because she seriously deserved it by the end
of this book. And I really can’t wait to get the next book (come on Poppy and
Mitch) no matter who it is. Even better if it’s more bruisers. But seriously I
am ready to read an instructional manual if Sarina writes it.

I met him
when my ship was sinking, and I clung to him through the storm. Little did I
know he needed me as much as I needed him.
The first time I saw Roman Dante King, he stuck out like an odd puzzle piece
that got mixed up in the wrong box. It wasn’t his blue eyes in the dim light of
the bar, the tattoos that covered his arms and hands, or even his arrogant
personality. It was something else—something I couldn’t see—that told me he
didn’t belong in our small beach town on the Oregon coast.
Elora Mazie Barlow reminded me of a hummingbird zipping from one flower to
another, never stopping, never allowing anyone more than a glimpse before she
was gone. Never letting anyone in… until me. Then she gave me her smiles that
were more valuable than anything I ever owned and wrapped me in her peace
without asking for anything in return.
Her tragic story sounded achingly familiar to my own.
Our connection is knotted up in loss. The journey we’re on together will
eventually come to an end. But will we be able to untangle the mess of strings
that have tied us together?
Will we even want to?

Meet Aurora Rose Reynolds
Aurora Rose
Reynolds is a New York Times, USA Today and Wall Street
Journal bestselling author whose wildly popular series include Until,
Until Him, Until Her, Underground King, Shooting Stars, Fluke My Life and How
to Catch an Alpha series.
Her writing
career started in an attempt to get the outrageously alpha men who resided in
her head to leave her alone and has blossomed into an opportunity to share her
stories with readers all over the world.
Connect with Aurora Rose Reynolds:
Anyone who
knows me, knows that Aurora Rose Reynolds could never write a bad book in my
opinion. In fact, I'm pretty sure the lady just has golden words flowing from
her finger tips. So, it feels incredibly disloyal to say that story wise, I
think this is her best written book to date. It's hard to explain because Until
November still has all the stars and will forever be a favourite read of mine
but this book feels like it has more depth to the story.
The
characters were beautiful, don't get me wrong. And I loved them and their journey,
but the true beauty of this story was as much their journey as it was them.
Whereas earlier books the characters have been the heart, and their journey has
been second to them.
Elora and
Roman met while each dealing with their own grief in different stages and in
different ways. And watching each of them come to terms with that and not only
work through it but also grow together at the same time was awesome. There was
so much going on that could have worked out in a multitude of ways that I
couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next and how.
Everything
worked out beautifully and I fell more in love with each character and I loved
it. I laughed, I swooned, I cried, and I smiled through my tears. And although
I think from a literary perspective this book shows the authors growth and development,
I still think her debut book is my favourite. Sorry not sorry. #AsherForever

𝐃𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐒 by New York Times, USA Today, and
Wall Street Journal bestselling author Abbi Glines is LIVE!!! This is
Thatcher’s story, a southern Mafia Romance set in the Georgia Smoke Series.
BLURB
The evil
of the world was pretty cut and dry. I did my best to do good, be good, and
make a positive mark on the world.
The
emotions that Thatcher stirred inside me couldn’t be labeled good. Now that I
knew how exciting, tempting, and addicting the darkness could be, I wasn’t sure
I would have the strength to stay away.
Thatcher
There wasn’t
a moment in my life that I didn’t feel detached. My earliest memory is that of
my mother looking at me as if I was something to fear. I’d never had a
relationship with her. The ones I did have were forged from loyalty. Love was a
concept that was used to explain a broad range of emotions that one felt. I had
very few of those, so I didn’t require labels. When a situation presented
itself that required a reaction, I thought it out—made my decision. Even if
those closest to me believed my actions weren’t something I could control. I
let them think it because their misconception gave me power. I was the master
of my impulse.
Except once-
when wide, terrified gray eyes locked on mine. She’d been in trouble, and my
questionable sanity snapped.
That day, I
realized my twisted soul wasn’t the only thing buried deep inside me. Perhaps
it was what my mother had seen in my eyes as a child that kept her from caring
for me like she did my brother. The evil that seemed to dwell but not stir had
been provoked. The sweet little minister’s daughter had no idea the demons
she’d awaken.
Capri
Just when I
get a chance of a lifetime to ride for Shepherd Ranch and make a mark in the
horse racing world, everything else in my life seems to take a downward spiral.
I’m terrible with flirting, and I can’t seem to keep a guy interested long
enough for any real relationship. I spend most nights alone, and my imagination
is starting to get the best of me. I’ve almost convinced myself there is
something in the shadows watching me. I shouldn’t have stopped praying. Now, my
list of sins has gotten out of hand in God’s tally book. I doubted he had
enough saving grace to wipe all I’d done clean.

Reynolds is one of my absolute instant one click authors. It doesn’t matter if
she is writing a full novel or instructions on applying hemorrhoid cream, I’m
buying it and reading it immediately. So as soon as Until Brodie dropped on my
kindle completely out of the blue, I jumped straight in without checking the
blurb or knowing a single thing about it. These 1001 nights novellas have
introduced me to a lot of new authors and series that I might not have
necessarily picked up otherwise. As well as giving me some bonus books in some
favourite authors worlds.
I have zero
regrets with my choice to pick this up, except it’s made me want more. Because
as much as I loved these characters and found their story entertaining, I
didn’t get enough. And I don’t really feel like it’s a true introduction to this
authors work. Despite the fact it’s a four-star read and I inhaled it in a
sitting, it feels like it’s missing all the things I love most about ARR.
The insta
love was there between the characters and I loved them just as instantly. But
we didn’t get the full growling, possessive, protective, over the top alpha in
Brodie. I think if the book was longer, he definitely had the potential to be
an amazing alpha hero, he just didn’t get to show it. Reese was a sweetheart
and I loved that she had a backbone but that she didn’t let her hurt or her
pride derail her plans for her future.
Luckily for
me we have another ARR book releasing soon that’s longer than a novella because
I need so many more words.

Madison is such a one click, always know I’m going to get the feels but put the
book down with a smile, author. And this series is just another one of her
series that is super interconnected with all of the previous ones. So, picking
it up feels like getting a warm hug and going back in time to be reminded of
all of her previous awesome characters. And I love the predictability of
knowing I love the writing; I love the characters and I know I’m going to love
the story. Even if I am going to read the book wondering when certain things
are going to happen and then getting little surprises and easter eggs all the
way through.
Nash &
Zoey I really can’t remember much of either of them from previous books but
mainly because they were secondary and even though I love the secondary
characters, I am always so focused on the main couple. But from the first
mention of Zoey, I could almost see love hearts float out of Nash’s eyes and I
lived for it. Having this in dual point of view, Nash’s feelings for Zoey were
so obvious and instant. There was never any doubt he would win her over, even
if he had to go to the ends of the earth to do it.
Obviously,
Zoey wasn’t privy to Nash’s inner monologue like we all were and I can
absolutely understand her being confused by her own doubts and insecurities.
Especially since we were privy to hers as well so seeing how she was feeling
and what she was thinking made it very easy to see where her mind was
going.
I loved
everything about this story and despite smiling for 90% of the book, I did shed
a few tears. Mainly because I’m a big sook and not because there was any major
reason to do so. And as expected I put it down feeling the warm fuzzies and
dying to get my hands on Zara’s book.

USA Today bestselling author Rebecca Jenshak comes a standalone fake dating
sports romance. This steamy, grumpy / sunshine football romance delivers a
swoony and emotional happily ever after.
Brogan
Six’s fan mail has been filling my mailbox for weeks. With every lipstick covered letter I
receive, my irritation with him grows. And let’s not talk about the time I
accidentally opened one of the packages to find someone had sent him their
panties. Gross.
When I come
face-to-face with my new nemesis, I expect to give him a piece of my mind and
we’ll go our separate ways. Me to an empty mailbox and him to sift through his
panty collection.
That
is not what happens.
I don’t know
if it was the booze, his clever wit, or if I was tricked (I’m sure I was
tricked), but now I’m fake dating the Mavericks’ hot new rookie.
And I might
just be the next woman to lose her panties to Brogan Six.

I picked
this book up, not reading the blurb or realising it was part of a series. Just
knowing it was from this amazing author and I had to get my grabby hands on it.
Zero regrets were made. The story had me so invested and I was besotted with
the characters immediately. It wasn’t long before things started to tickle my
goldfish brain and I knew that I knew some of these secondary characters so I
ran off to Goodreads to check and I will admit to a happy squeal when I
realised who Brogan was.
But it very
happily and easily could be read as a standalone. And honestly for the main
part that's how I read it, because seriously my memory is terrible. Once you
get into the pages you will be too busy falling for London and Brogan to care
about anything else. Both characters had their own things going on and I was
dying to see how things were going to play out for each of them.
London was
the perfect blend of quiet and outgoing. She wasn’t scared to speak her mind
and stand up for what she knew she wanted and didn’t want. I really loved the
chemistry between Brogan and London. And I loved that when Brogan was dealing
with things, London didn’t make it about herself, and Brogan was the first to
apologise and explain where he was at with everything. The whole thing played
out so realistically and I felt like I was living it alongside them. Now I am
holding my breath for the next book.
