Rawdon is LIVE!!!
Blurb
Pro football might see me as their favorite underdog, but Madison Westfield would rather see me six feet under.
My ex-best friend’s little sister has every reason to hate me.
I took her boyfriend’s spot on this team, her brother might lose his too, and our
short-lived engagement years ago is part of the reason our families are locked in a grudge match that has the whole league on edge.
Ruining me would fix most of her problems, but she's stuck trying to work a PR miracle with my career instead. Making my way through her build-a-better-image checklist is the kind of torture I'll gladly sign up for, especially if I get to help her prove everyone wrong.
But it means we're spending a lot of time alone together, and when it comes to Madison, I'll take any chance she gives me.
Even if it means there's hell to pay—on and off the field.

Maggie
Rawdon has quickly become a one click author for me. The only issue is I've
read everything she has written so far, and I hate having to wait for her to
write them so I can read them. First world problems, I know. The other issue is
that despite them not all being the same series there's a lot of crossovers in
characters so while I'm reading, I have these moments where I have to stop and
think about if I've met the character previously. Luckily for me they all are
stand-alones so the fact I forget more than I remember doesn't affect the
story.
I
waited to read Before the Chaos until I could jump straight into this after.
And I'm glad I did because I fell hard for both Quentin and Madison. I couldn't
wait to see how everything was going to be resolved. I only wish that Quentin
hadn't let ten years go by before he tried to fix it all. Like seriously why
couldn't you have gone grovelling after the first year?
Because
Quentin and Madison were meant to be together. The chemistry between them was
electric and I couldn't get enough of the way Quentin loved her so completely.
I just literally can't understand why he waited ten freaking years. And the
fact that Madison just got on with her life made me so happy. I can't stand it
when the women pine and wait while the man is off living their best life.
The
book was awesome. The story was great, and I couldn't put it down, hence me
still lying in bed in my PJs, sorry fam. I adore all the previous couples and I
can't wait to see who we are getting next, hopefully Bea and Cooper. But for now,
I'm going to stare dreamily off into space thinking about the perfection that
was Quentin.

Rumor- There are moments in life when you make a decision. Accept who you are. What you have become. This was one of those times…
The fairytale I thought I’d found had become a nightmare so quickly after I said,
“I do.” Which was the reason I ran when I had the chance. Not thinking about
the consequences. Just knowing I had to get free before it was my life that was
taken.
I never expected to end up finding a haven. A place where people were willing to help me hide. It was as if I had walked into my own perfect daydream.
King- “Don’t believe every pretty face you meet, sweets. You should know by now that’s a terrible f----g idea.”
She was my job. I was to make her feel safe and do whatever I had to in order to make sure she didn’t run. Underneath the abused and broken exterior, there was a fighter.
It was in her eyes. I lived for the moments when she let me see that spark.
I had been headed straight to Hell years before I met Rumor, but letting her fall in love with me was going to reserve me a room in the darkest pit available. One day soon, she was going to find out I was the monster she was running from and the family she had come to trust was the mafia that had killed her husband.
*Please be advised that this is book one in a duet and is a standalone in the Georgia Smoke Series.

FREE IN KINDLE UNLIMITED
From Wall Street Journal and USA TODAY bestselling author Natasha Madison comes a brand new sports romance.
A spin-off from the Hollywood Playboy & This Is Crazy.
Ryleigh
Growing up in Hollywood, I was surrounded by liars and phonies.
So when I got my law degree, I knew I wanted to work as a district attorney.
Busy days turned to long nights—I was on my way up the ladder.
Then he happened.
Bullied his way into my life as if there was no choice.
Suddenly everything I thought I wanted wasn’t as important.
Stone
I had one thing on my mind and that was never going to change: The game.
The only goal I had was beating the records set by my family.
I didn’t have time for anything else.
Until she walked in the room.
The earth shifted, just like the stories said it would.
I said it wouldn’t happen—not to me.
I didn’t have the time, but now she was the only thing on my mind.
I knew it was her.
Now I had to convince her.

Meet Natasha Madison
When her nose isn’t buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she’s in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips.
It’s a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn’t listen to her…

Life
has been hitting pretty hard this month so, when this popped up on my kindle, I
was also excited. I can always count on Natasha Madison to make me smile and
fall madly in love with her characters. And for the OG family members to throw
in some background shenanigans to make me laugh and reminisce about their
stories. Or check out Goodreads to see if I've read the book with whatever
family members are currently part of above-mentioned shenanigans.
What
I honestly didn't expect was how freaking hot this book got so quickly. It
started off with a tease and a six-month separation and I thought ok we are
going to get a slow burn with loads of banter and phone conversations. Then
next thing I knew I was jumping online to check out some new friends for my
drawer and borrowing my husband for a minute.
Ryleigh
was so driven and accomplished that I wasn't sure how they could possibly make
it work. Then bam Stone comes up with the book boyfriend move of the century
and I was all swoony and loving him. But it just wasn't to be, and I swung just
as quickly to wanting to kick him in the jewels.
Luckily
for me after Natasha took me through all the feels and we got the annual family
holiday as our epilogue location. And I almost put the book down with a smile
but then she took the breath right out of me. Stone and Ryleigh ended
beautifully but man I am reading the next book armed and loaded with wine,
chocolate and tissues.
It's
been a while since I have gotten so invested in characters in a novella. I mean
I am not great at the whole patience thing so I couldn't read this prequel
until I had the actual book in my kindle. But from the first chapter I wanted
everything to be sunshine and roses for these guys.
And
I deliberately didn't read the blurbs because I wanted to enjoy the prequel
without having an idea of how it was going to play out. So I spent half of this
book trying to imagine the different ways it could play out and hanging on
every word.
And
the ending had me beyond grateful that I can jump straight into the book right
now because this is awesome.
So,
it’s not really a secret that my reading tastes have become a little on the
wussy side over the years. Every now and then I look back over the books I’ve
read and realise just how drastically my reading tastes and my reading style
has changed. But the thing is I still want to read some of those books that I
used to devour I just always feel like I need to be in the right head space and
to be honest with a houseful of kids running around along with a handful of
adult or mostly adult kids my head space can change on a dime.
Then
you have the fact that the books labelled as dark, and bully can vary so
drastically and the things that I like in those books are hard to discover when
just reading the blurb and warnings and tags. So, I tend to steer away as I
would rather read a book I’m pretty much guaranteed to like rather than read a
book I hate and can’t review fairly because it’s my own personal preference as
to why it didn’t work for me. Then a book like this comes from left field. Like
seriously never heard of the author or the book but while looking for a
different book spotted a teaser and had all my kinks jump out at me and make me
instantly one click it. Plus, it’s a KU title so bonus.
From
the first page I was so in. Lily was so sweet and drove herself so hard to be
perfect without realising the only one putting that pressure on her was
herself. But she was no push over either. She had grown up in such a safe and
loving and perfect family and place that she knew her own worth and knew she
was safe even when she was picked on by the queen bees. Plus, she had an
awesome friend who had her back. But then we meet Cayden and suddenly the story
just grabbed hold even tighter.
Cayden
was a character that I can kind of relate to and I swear I read half of this
book with tears in my eyes. His actions are so understandable when you see the
trauma he has lived through and having his point of view and knowing how he
felt made me love him so much. Even if I wanted to slap him for his self-sabotage
and tell Lily that she deserved more I couldn’t help but want her to stand up
and push back and see where his actions came from. And the fact that Lily
didn’t let him walk all over her but that she did forgive him and see past his
front made her the perfect match.
I
literally couldn’t be happier that I picked up this book even if I did it on a
whim. And now I’m going to go beg for the next one. Oh, and I need to know more
about Nikolai and see if I can see if my big girl panties can handle that now.
Toodles.
