He knew what he wanted, and he wanted me.
The One I Want, an all-new emotional, angst-filled new adult stand-alone romance from USA Today & Wall Street Journal bestselling author Siobhan Davis is available now!!!
We thought we were forever, but fate had other plans…
I never intended to fall in love.
This girl had goals and guys were an unwelcome distraction.
Until I met Garrick, my sophomore year of college, and he blasted through the walls I kept around my heart, tearing them down.
He knew what he wanted, and he wanted me.
Falling hard and fast, I experienced the rollercoaster highs and lows of first love.
Until life threw us a curveball, and everything flipped overnight.
Stuck in a limbo state, I was falling apart while trying to be strong for my boyfriend.
Then he entered my life. The hot, slightly older guy who looked like a cross between a tatted biker and a billionaire businessman.
Beck understood me, and our situation, in a way no one else could.
As a friend, he held me together and helped to piece back the shredded fragments of my heart.
I didn’t mean to fall in love with him—it just happened.
No one understands, least of all me.
Now my heart is split in two, and I don’t know what to do.
Is my first love my one true love? Or do I belong with the man who brought me to life?

I've
taken a short breather in my reading of this series and I'm actually really
glad I did. The anticipation of this book has been threaded through every book
before it and it almost feels like a safe spot to finish but also a new
beginning. All the OG Kayr's vampires are mated, and Janie has fulfilled her
destiny. And a lot of the questions now have answers.
It's
funny because this book had so many ways it could have played out. and I feel
like while I was reading it, I spent as much time thinking about what could
have been as actually reading the book. Each time I would come to a new conclusion
on what would happen next something shifted.
Janie
and Zane actually together were a lot less tumultuous than I expected. But
obviously they didn't have an easy run of it. Everything about them being
together was a fight to get beyond and they handled it beautifully. I am dying
to see where the series is going from here. Yet I also don't know if I want to
read it. Because where we have finally gotten to feels safe and comfortable.
Who am I kidding? I'm one clicking the next one as soon as I finish this.
Toodles
I
honestly don't even remember how I started on this series, but I am so glad I
did. Because now I have a new college sports author to stalk. Not just because I
love her writing style and her characters are awesome, but also because I am
praying Joss and Colt are up next.
Ben
and Violet had me dying to jump in from the minute Ben stalked her at the end
of the last book. Because Ben was one of those characters I wanted to know more
about. He had depths that no one really worried about with their own things
going on. But those depths were so beautiful once we got him in the hot seat of
MC.
Violet
was surprising. I spent half the book screaming that she was an idiot, while
feeling for her about what she was going through. Because she made some
seriously stupid decisions, but I could completely understand how she got to
them. Although once she realised where she had gone wrong, she worked to make
everything right.
The
chemistry between Ben and Violet was so hot, I couldn't get enough. And there
was the perfect balance of angst to keep me interested and turning the pages as
fast as I could. Now I'm seriously hoping that we get Joss next because I love
her already.

Meet Your Match by Kandi Steiner is now live!
One Month with Vince Tanev: Tampa’s Hotshot Rookie
Twenty-four-seven access on and off the ice.
The headline says it all, and my bosses are over the moon when the opportunity of a lifetime lands in my lap. Of course, they aren’t aware that I’ve already met Vince Cool at an all-star gala — and that we were at each other’s throats the entire time.
It doesn’t matter that he’s the kind of hot that shows God has favorites — messy brown hair, heated hazel eyes, the smirk of a rockstar, and a scar over his eyebrow that makes every woman particularly feral.
He’s a rich, cocky playboy — a brand I’m all too familiar with, and one I’m determined to never be around again.
But after my coverage of the gala stirs up buzz, the team’s General Manager and my CEO strike a deal. To help fill the arena at home games, I’ll get up close and personal with Tampa’s new shiny toy. Whether he’s at practice, playing in a game, partying, or drinking coffee half-naked in his condo — I’ll be there for all of it.
Vince gets under my skin like no one else. It isn’t long before that paper-thin line between hate and lust blurs, and being around him every waking minute of the day leaves no chance to escape his devilish stare.
The air crackles between us. The tension is hot enough to melt my inhibitions.
But I know the way this story ends. I’ve lived it once before.
As much as I work to guard my heart, my body is a traitor — and if this man puts his hands on me, I know I’ll submit to desire.
I thought one month with Vince Tanev was a game I could win easily.
But I might have just met my match.

Meet Kandi
Kandi Steiner is an Amazon Top 5 bestselling author and whiskey connoisseur living in Tampa, FL. Best known for writing “emotional rollercoaster” stories, she loves bringing flawed characters to life and writing about real, raw romance — in all its forms. No two Kandi Steiner books are the same, and if you’re a lover of angsty, emotional, and inspirational reads, she’s your gal.
An alumna of the University of Central Florida, Kandi graduated with a double major in Creative Writing and Advertising/PR with a minor in Women’s Studies. She started writing back in the 4th grade after reading the first Harry Potter installment. In 6th grade, she wrote and edited her own newspaper and distributed to her classmates. Eventually, the principal caught on and the newspaper was quickly halted, though Kandi tried fighting for her “freedom of press.”
She took particular interest in writing romance after college, as she has always been a die hard hopeless romantic, and likes to highlight all the challenges of love as well as the triumphs.
When Kandi isn’t writing, you can find her reading books of all kinds, planning her next adventure, or pole dancing (yes, you read that right). She enjoys live music, traveling, playing with her fur babies and soaking up the sweetness of life.

Kandi
Steiner hockey series? Say no more, sign me up. Should I have read the blurb to
see what I was in for? Maybe, but then again, I was going to dive into it the
first chance I got so …... And then I couldn't have put it down to check the
blurb if I had to because I was dying to get more. More story: more push and
pull; more Vince; more Maven; just more.
It's
been a while since I've read a book that has given me a nervous fluttering in
my stomach as I read it. So, when it hit in this book it actually took me a
minute to realise I was all balled up over what was playing out on the page.
There was so much chemistry between Maven and Vince that I wouldn't have been
surprised to get a zap from my kindle.
I
absolutely wanted Maven to give Vince a miss when he was first trying to get
her attention but then he stopped playing games and started using his words and
I was smitten. Maven's reluctance was easy to understand, and Vince played
right into her views of him. Making it easy to see why she kept up the push and
pull from her perspective. Despite that when I read Vince's point of view, I
wanted her to run off into the sunset with him.
The
secondary characters are people I can't wait to get the stories of. Especially
with the next couple already being teased, my patience is being put to the
test.
Ahhhh
it's freaking Tucker's book. Ok ok I know I probably should have realised that
a long time ago, but I had no clue. I actively avoid teasers because then my
little brain fixates on that story, and I am unable to read anything else and I
drive myself and my family a little nuts waiting for the book to be released. So,
when it's one of my auto buy authors like the amazing ARR I don't read the
blurb. I just check if it's part of a series I've already started.
So,
I was all excited to start a brand new series and meet some new characters when
BAM I realised I knew half of these guys. And I've already sulked over how much
I need a massive industrial building with a floor for each of my family and a
huge indoor playground. On top of that we got the start of Until Willow at the
end and I completely melted remembering all the awesomeness of their book.
Oh
well, as I said it's freaking Tucker's book and his lovely lady, Miranda.
Honestly couldn't find a single thing in the book that wasn't just gah. The sweet,
strong, self-confident single mum and the growling, sweet, caring, possessive
alpha law enforcement bad arse. What can I say? It's like reading crack. I'm
completely addicted, and I never want to be cured of it.
The
only issue I had was having to put it down to parent. And the fact that since I
finished it in a day, I now have to wait for Aurora to weave her magic and
write the next one. Because since the minute I read Until November it's been a
pattern of inhale the book as quickly as possible, then wait for the next one,
rinse and repeat. With a few random re-reads thrown in for good measure.
So
now we wait. Which is kind of ok since there's now a few extra secondary
characters to obsess over getting their own stories. Can't wait to see what's
next.
I
feel like I have read this series in slow motion, but it has stayed with me.
Each time I put one of the books down I immediately grab the next one and then
need to wait for the fortitude to read it. Because for a paranormal series it
has been a super emotional ride. And in classic Tessa Bailey style it's also
extremely hot.
Tucker
was the steady, funny, reliable sidekick that I didn't really think twice about
in the earlier books. He was just always there with a joke and a bail out, but
I didn't know what to expect from him. After seeing the meeting between him and
Mary in the last book I was dying to see them from their own points of view.
I
was also dying to see what was going to happen with the war. And for all the
twists and turns that this story took I couldn't guess how that was going to
play out. There were some that we saw coming but most completely blindsided me.
Tucker was the perfect person for Mary. And I loved watching her blossom and
shake off all the things that she had previously thought were disabilities.
The
whole book was just beautiful, and I was really blown away by how much I felt.
And I honestly didn't see the ending coming but I couldn't have been happier
with it.
I
seriously need to know what happens in my head that means after reading the
first two books in a series and loving them, the minute I have to wait for the
next book means I'll end up waiting years to read it. Tessa Bailey is such a
talented author, and this series has been awesome so I don't know why it took
me years to read this.
Jiya
and Andrew were really unique for a friend's to lover’s romance. Absolutely
nothing about their journey was expected and I couldn't put it down. First the
friendship between them was beautiful but the way they each felt and the reason
for them being stuck in the friendzone was a great read. Throw in the absolute
fierceness of Andrew's love and possessiveness on top of his selflessness made
him just beyond.
I
really liked Jiya too, but I am absolutely obsessed with Andrew. Between his
dirty mouth and complete devotion, I was as desperate to slap him for being an
idiot as I was to jump him. But Jiya understood him. and once she realised she
wasn't alone in the depth of her feelings I love that she went after it so
hard.
This
book was just the right blend of emotions, angst and hot as hell. I really
don't know why I didn't read it years ago.
