How did I not see Jase and Brenna coming? I mean sure hindsight and all that, but they were the absolute epitome of opposites attract. And the breadcrumbs with the painting and Jase's feelings towards Brenna should have made it obvious.

 

Each of them has been through their own trials and challenges only to varying degrees. And the effects those had on them was as different as night and day. Brenna was all things beautiful and hopeful, while Jase was rage and revenge.

 

There was so much going on and so many twists I didn't see coming that made this book completely enthralling. Watching each of these two connect and learn to trust in each other was awesome. Especially seeing Jase fall hard for Brenna.

 

I can't wait to see where this is going next with so many people still waiting to get their stories told. Not to mention the loose threads I'm still waiting to see play out.
