I
feel like a fraud. I've read a heap of Pippa Grant books, they are a go to
laugh out loud read. And I thought I was up to this book when I went all grabby
hands to see THE Cooper Rock fall in love. Then I realised I am so far from
being up to date with the books because they aren't all in the same series. I
read the Bro Code and a few others but now I have to go back and read more. 😏
What a shame.
Cooper
is one of those guys that you shake your head at his antics while you can't
keep the smile off his face. And even when he's sleeping his way through the
United States and you kind of want to bathe him in sanitizer, you also want to
hug him and poke at those adorable dimples. I didn't think there would be a
woman brave enough to deal with his antics.
Then
along came Waverly. I honestly don't remember being introduced to her
previously but with my memory that doesn't mean much. From the first page I was
a fan. I wanted to join the Braverlies fan club and search Spotify for all her
music and then I remembered she wasn't real. I mean honestly Pippa writes such
real characters.
I
loved everything that these guys had to work through to get the happily ever
after they both deserved. It was so well earned but it was also incredibly
deserved by such awesome, selfless, caring people. And the epilogues were so
sweet. I can't wipe the smile off my face. I think everyone needs a little
Shipwreck Cove and their inhabitants in their lives.
I
binge read the previous books in this series and then got to this one and
didn't want to open it. Not that I didn't want to read the book, because Nellie
has been awesome, and I was looking forward to her story. But because the next
book in the series isn't available yet and I hate having to wait for the next
one in a series I'm addicted to.
Cal
and Nellie had been introduced to us in the previous book and I wasn't sure
what to expect after seeing their bickering. I wanted to know what had happened
between them for the animosity between them. But I had a feeling it was all
Cal's fault.
Thankfully
this was written in a dual point of view because I got to see the inner
workings of Cal's mind. And seeing how he felt and how he reacted to their
history through Nellie's eyes made him even more endearing. Seeing the history
of their relationship made me understand the push and pull.
And
now I have to wait for the next book in the series. God I hate having to wait.
But how many amazing books are being released in October?

Adrian Davis thought getting on a real-life, ‘beam me up, Scotty’, transport pad was adventure enough. Visiting her mother—and the Atlan beast her mom had chosen as a mate—on another planet? Setting foot in an Atlan prison? Completely crazy.
Like totally, bat-shit, what-the-hell-was-she-doing-with-her-life crazy.
She was supposed to spend a few days wandering around with her twin sister, seeing the sights, expanding her horizons. The trip was supposed to be a much needed break from the hectic schedule she was keeping in school. She was only nineteen. She had plans. Finish college. Medical school. Husband. House. Two-point-five perfect kids and a golden retriever named Buddy.
All that changed with one roar of pain. She heard him. A beast. He was out of control, locked behind an impenetrable wall, alone. Suffering the agony of mating fever.
Ready to die. Forsaken.
Adrian can’t let him go. She will have to fight a centuries old system, warlords on another world, and the beast himself to get what she wants.
To save him.
To keep him for herself.
Turning my head, I found my mate and her sister both staring at me, hands on their hips. Stances, identical. Adrian’s expression? Determined.
The other female had more sense. She had the decency to be nervous, biting her lower lip. “I don’t know about this, sis.”
“They won’t even realize where I am until tomorrow.”
“I know. But you know how much I hate lying to them. What if they check on us when they get home?”
Adrian chuckled. “They won’t. Mom can’t keep her hands off him. They’ll be too busy bumping uglies to worry about where I am.”
Bumping uglies? Ugly what? And why would they bump?
“I’ll worry.”
“That’s why you’re going to be back here in exactly four hours and let me out.”
Stephanie looked at me, inspected me from head to toe. I remained silent. “What about him?”
“I’ll figure it out. After.”
After?
Stephanie’s head dropped backward so that her face looked up at the ceiling. She groaned. “God. And you were making fun of mom for being a horny wench. This is insane. You know that, right?”
“I know. I don’t care. I’m calling in my twin card.”
“Oh, I know. You told me. Why the hell do you think I’m down here again? And low blow by the way. I used my twin card for that stupid calculus test.”
Twin card?
“Not my fault I saved mine for something juicy.” Adrian gathered her sister to her, their heads identical in height as well as form. In fact, the twins were remarkably similar except for my mate’s beautiful hair. “Look. I’m going in there. I know what I know. I can’t explain it, okay? You have to trust me.”
The brown-haired twin’s voice was muffled in her sister’s neck. “Okay. But if you die, I’m going to be really, really mad at you. Like, forever mad.”
I’m going in there?
Adrian’s words finally registered, and I moved forward to tower over them as much as I could with the energy barrier still between us.
“You will not enter this cell, my lady.” I was furious that she would take such a chance. Still, I could not force a threatening tone from my throat, not while I spoke to her.
And my lady? What evil spirit possessed me to speak those two words?
Fuck. What was happening to me? I should shout. Rage. Scream. Act like an out-of-control beast ready to rend and tear and kill. I could do none of those things. My beast, it seemed, had as tight a leash on me as I did on him. He would not allow me to frighten her. Would not allow me to disrespect her. Upset her. Injure her in body, mind or spirit.
Gods be damned. What the fuck was I going to do now? I could never offer her my mating cuffs. I could not. I would be executed in a matter of hours.
I could offer her nothing.
With a low rumble, my beast disagreed, shoving erotic images into my already fracturing mind.
Adrian released her sister and turned to face me. This close she was even smaller than she had at first appeared. Yet her eyes blazed with defiance. “Stephanie?”
“You sure? Really, really, really sure?” Her sister moved toward the control panel.
“Do not,” I ordered.
“Twin card. Playing it. Now.” Adrian ignored me.
Stephanie sighed. The energy barrier dropped.
Adrian took three steps forward. Her scent washed over me. My beast growled. My cock throbbed in pain. My vision blurred. I ordered my limbs to move, to remove this female from my cell. The beast took control of every cell, every muscle of my body. The transformation moved through me. My muscles screamed as they exploded, grew larger. My bones elongated. My beast shoved me aside as if I were no more than a wisp of fog in his peripheral vision.
The energy barrier reappeared, locking her inside the cell.
With me.
With my beast.
Always Her Love by Melissa Foster is now live!
Some fates are too tempting to deny…
If you love single-parent romances, you won’t want to miss Always Her Love, an emotionally gripping, funny, and sinfully-hot story of forbidden love, with a much deserved and epic happily ever after. Fall in love on the sandy shores of Silver Island, home to coffee shops, boat races, midnight rendezvous, and the sexy, sharp-witted Steeles. They have a penchant for pranks, a passion for loyalty, and a trunk full of secrets. All Steele novels may be enjoyed as standalone romances.
In ALWAYS HER LOVE
“I'm pregnant. It’s yours. I’m having it, and unless you want it, I’m putting it up for adoption.” Those were the words that changed Levi Steele’s life before he was even legally allowed to drink. There was never any question about whether he would keep his daughter, and eight years later, he doesn’t have a single regret. He owns a successful contracting company, he’s part of the Dark Knights motorcycle club, and Joey’s happiness is his top priority. None of that would be possible without the help of Joey’s beautiful and selfless aunt Tara, who’s going to be staying with them over spring break and who he’s been thinking about in ways he shouldn’t. But Tara’s older sister is Joey’s birth mother, and she’s the last woman the dirty-talking biker should want to get his hands on.
Tara Osten has been crushing on Levi for as long as she can remember. He’s a loving father, a loyal friend, someone with whom she can always be herself, and six-plus feet of deliciously hard, tattooed muscle. At twenty-four, she’s finally realized he will never see her as more than his baby mama’s younger sister. It’s time to let go of her lustful fantasies starring Levi Steele and move on with her life. Step one: Buy her own place and start dating. Step two: Survive spring break without falling harder for the one man she can never have.

Hating the Player by Rebecca Jenshak is now live!
Gavin Leonard is the worst.
He lives in the best party house off campus at Valley U, overrun by jocks galore.
I live next door, watching Jane Austen adaptations with my sketchbook in hand.
He stays on his side of the fence.
I stay on mine.
Now we're accidentally on a camping trip together, but there's only one tent left.
Gavin Leonard is the worst.
And he's the last guy who broke my heart.

“You’re wrong, baby. I do.”
If you love second chance, single parent romance, pining, a couple over 40, redemption and forgiveness, this is the book for you.
Decades ago, tennis superstar Tom Pierce and “It Girl” Mika Stowe met at a party.
Mika fell in love. Tom was already in love with his wife. As badly as Tom wanted Mika as a friend, Mika knew it would hurt too much to be attracted to this amazing man and never be able to have him.
They parted ways for what they thought would be forever, only to reconnect just once, when unspeakable tragedy darkens Mika’s life.
Years later, the impossible happens.
A time comes when they’re both unattached.
But now Tom has made a terrible mistake. A mistake so damaging to the ones he loves, he feels he’ll never be redeemed.
Mika has never forgotten how far and how fast she fell when she met him, but Tom’s transgression is holding her distant from reaching out.
There are matchmakers in their midst, however.
And when the plot has been unleashed to make that match, Tom and Mika are thrown into an international intrigue that pits them against a Goliath of the sports industry.
Now they face a massive battle at the same time they’re navigating friendship, attraction, love, family, grief, redemption, two very different lives lived on two opposite sides of a continent and a box full of kittens.
Kristen recently released GOSSAMER IN THE DARKNESs, a novella with 1,001 Dark Nights based in Kristen's Fantasyland universe.
In September 2022, she'll publish the fourth in the River Rain Series, the story of Tom and Mika, MAKING THE MATCH. She also has upcoming books in her Wild West MC romance series, and her romantic thriller series, Misted Pines.
Kristen, born in Gary and raised in Brownsburg, Indiana and was a fourth-generation graduate of Purdue University. Since, she has lived in Denver, the West Country of England, and she now resides in Phoenix. She worked as a charity executive for eighteen years prior to beginning her independent publishing career. She now writes full-time.
Although romance is her genre, the prevailing themes running through all of Kristen’s novels are friendship, family and a strong sisterhood. To this end, and as a way to thank her readers for their support, Kristen has created the Rock Chick Nation, a series of programs that are designed to give back to her readers and promote a strong female community.

It
feels like I've been waiting for this book forever. But Rebecca Jenshak is like
college sports crack. From my first book I was addicted, and I inhaled
everything I could get my hands on and now I just can't get them fast enough.
And I have zero patience and a goldfish memory, so I just want all the words
yesterday.
Gavin
and Violet were one of those couples where you kind of want her to kick him in
the junk and date the hot football player and live happily ever after. And then
he goes all out to prove that he wants a second chance and does sweet things
that cause some serious book boyfriend moments and I'm back to hoping he wins
her over.
One
thing I will say is that I love a reformed man whore, so I don't have any issue
with that. BUT I am not a fan of the whole I've wanted you the whole time, so I
banged my way through the roster. Although I am able to get over it, it is one
of those things that I need there to be a good grovel or a point to the mention
and thankfully in this case there was both.
I
love these ladies and gents and getting to know them all bit by bit in every
book is awesome. I can't wait for the next book, and I can't wait for the hot
football player to show us what he's got in the boyfriend department. And
seeing how much more epilogue we get in the next book because this one was cute
AF.
