I finished Paxton and Naomi's book and I had to jump straight into Patrick's. Because I seriously love watching a college sports hero who's incredibly promiscuous fall. And man did he fall hard.

 

I really didn't know how this book was going to play out. Especially since at the end of the last book Patrick was sleeping with anything that was breathing. And there wasn't even a hint of a romantic relationship anywhere in his future.

 

When Ellie was first mentioned I thought I knew how the story was going to play out and I was so glad to be proven wrong. The first meeting between Patrick and Ellie was great. And again, I thought I knew what was going to happen next and was wrong and I just got even more invested. I love that the things I automatically expect in a college romance were teased and not delivered.

 

The sparks between these two were flying off the page and I loved that despite their differences they didn't go with the obvious relationship dramas. Everything that happened between them felt natural and realistic and I couldn't put it down. I was dying to see how they were going to merge their very different directions into a life together.

 

This series is just awesome, and I love seeing the earlier couples together and seeing their relationships from outside perspectives. Along with seeing the secondary characters from different points of view. And I am thrilled I have the next two locked and loaded.
