He's not your average Joe from the corner bar.
He's the heir to the crown.
I should know, I've followed him for years.
Not in a stalkerish way.
Magazines and online gossip blogs are fair game when you're royalty.
But I do know every detail about him, down to the brand of boxer briefs he wears.
All my studying of the man who plays a starring role in my dreams pays off when I win a dinner with him.
As if that wasn't enough, he barters a deal with me that has him moving into my spare guest room.
I forgot that fairytales don't exist though because just as I'm about to get everything I want, including the prince, I find out there's someone in Prince Adrian Marx's life I don't know -- his fiancee.

I went into this book with a whole load of doubts. I wasn't a massive fan of the first one and Sierra came across as a bit of a cold and judgy witch. But Sierra and Adrian were perfect. And I really did get to see a soft and sensitive side of Sierra and I felt her pain. I can't imagine losing a parent and having the other one just shut down and leave you to deal by yourself at ten. No wonder she came across as cold and distant.
Adrian was so perfect not just in drawing her out of her shell and making her open herself up but also in being so solid and giving her a safe space to find her own strength. He was such a perfect character and I think the lovely ladies did an amazing job writing this reluctant royal.
I enjoyed the way the rooftop crew just took it all in stride. That group is so fun I love all their different dimensions and I can't wait to get my hands on Rian's book next. It's kind of mean that I want Dylan to suffer and Rian to find love with Jax but my fingers are crossed.

Things are about to get sticky...
Beefcakes, an all-new ”amazing and unforgettable” romantic comedy from Katana Collins, is available now!
I might as well permanently add the label "Ex" to my name. I'm an Ex-Mr. Universe. Ex-Mr. Olympus. An Ex-Hollywood Stuntman. But no one from my small hometown cares anything about that. They only care that I'm the ex-boyfriend to the beloved Mayor's daughter, Elaina Dyker.
And now, ten years later, I'm back, helping my siblings run my mother's bakery while she takes on chemo. What should have been a routine cupcake delivery turns into utter chaos when the bachelorette party thinks I'm a stripper. And what's worse? Elaina is the maid of honor.
But the meme about us sure went viral fast. My small hometown has become positively infested with tipsy bridesmaids looking for my erotic cupcakes.
Now Hollywood's knocking again—and this time they want me and my ex, Mr. Beefcake and Ms. Prude, to star in a reality show.
It could solve all my problems—except her.

I arched my brow at her. “I bragged about knowing you so well…but man. I did not see this almond croissant massacre coming. What do you have against almonds? Or was it the amount of butter that offended you? Because as a fitness expert, let me tell you butter isn’t the enemy. Sugar is the enemy.”
She laughed. “I, uh…I might have some anger management issues.”
I took the bag from her and peeked in. There were knuckle marks against the outside of the croissant. Literal knuckle marks. I barked a laugh. “Elaina Dyker. Did you punch the croissant?”
She laughed, pressing her lips together as though this would hide the fact that I saw her adorable little giggle. She brought her thumb and forefinger up beside her temple. “Maybe a little.”“Did you even try a bite?”
She shook her head no. “I like my routine. I like my daily lunch of yogurt and almonds.”
I made a face. Because she had to be exaggerating. Sure…she liked them. But having that same thing every day? Even chocolate cake every day would get tedious. “You can like yogurt and almonds but still indulge every now and then, you know.” I reached in and pinched off a piece of the smashed croissant, holding it out toward her lips. “C’mon. Live a little. I promise you, it is actually healthy, if that’s your concern.” Not that she needed to be concerned about that. “Almond flour. Gluten free. Grain free. Only two net carbs. The only sugar is the honey in the honey roasted almonds and the natural sugar in dates.” Her eyes grew wide at that and I knew I had hooked her.
She reached out her hand to take the piece of croissant from me, but I pulled back. “Nuh-uh,” I teased. “We can’t have your fingers getting sticky. Might ruin that fancy suit you’re wearing.”
She rolled her eyes, but parted her wet lips, her tongue peeking out just enough for me to place the croissant on top of. She moaned as soon as it hit her mouth, and her eyes fell closed as she slowly chewed and swallowed. “That’s…that’s healthy?”
I nodded. “See? I’m not just a pile of muscles. I’ve got some talent, too.”
Her head fell to the side. “I never said you weren’t talented. I just wish you wouldn’t show off quite so much of your other assets.”
I grinned. “I thought you liked my assets?”
“I do,” she answered absentmindedly, then immediately shook her head, realizing what she’d said. “I mean, I did.”

About Katana
As an author and a story-teller, it is the lifeblood to which my ideas take flight. And I believe in giving credit where credit is due. Occasionally someone (ie – my husband) will try to secretly switch out my beloved regular coffee for decaf. I always know the difference. ALWAYS (I’m looking at you, SEAN).
I am incapable of achieving the perfect ponytail. I’m dyslexic. I can never wear white without spilling on myself. And I’ve never read Pride and Prejudice (gasp!).
When I was younger and stole my mother’s Harlequins to read beneath the covers with a flashlight (seriously, did we ALL do this? I think we did.), I wanted to read about the tough as nails heroine. The perfectly imperfect girl with quirks and attitude and sass. And the anti-heroes who were anything but “Prince Charming.” Forget the knight on a white horse… give me the bad boy on a motorcycle.
So, now, I write those romance novels I craved to see on the shelves all those years ago—the sassy heroines. The badass heroes. I spend my days in the throes of my imagination, and am loving every minute of it. I can travel anywhere and become anyone I want to be. One day, I’m a mechanic in Boston and the next, I’m a vampire stripping in Las Vegas.
Since penning my first novel back in 2012, I’m now an international author with 15 published books, in a wide range of contemporary romance genres–(Paranormal, New Adult, Small town, Erotic Suspense… you name it!).
After living for a decade in Brooklyn, NY, I took the plunge and moved to beautiful (although kinda chilly) Portland, Maine. I now live full time in ‘Vacationland’ with a kind of mean cat, a mellow chihuahua, and a very NOT mellow lab-pittie mix. Oh, yeah… there’s a husband who draws comics somewhere in that mix, too. I can usually be found in a coffee shop with my nose in my laptop wearing fabulous (albeit sometimes impractical) shoes.
I love connecting with readers and fellow sassy storytellers, so feel free to drop me an email at katana.collins@gmail.com or connect with me on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter (@katanacollins). You can find a list of my available books over on my Bookshelf or if you’ve already read a book, it would make my day if you wrote a review!

A Fresh Restart
by Chelsea Falin
Genre: Contemporary Romance
A sweet contemporary friends-to-lovers romance novella with a strong dose of second chance at love and a sweet HEA. No cliffhangers. (Heat Level: 2 flames.)
Josette Miller and Walker Anderson grew up together in small-town, Dade City, Florida. Inseparable during their youth, Josette dreamed of growing up and moving away. When she left ten years ago, Josette didn’t know how Walker really felt about her.
But Dade City just wasn’t the same with Josette, and Walker left shortly after, regretting he’d never told Josette how he felt. In a twist of fate, Josette and Walker find themselves moving home within months of each other. They aren’t kids, anymore, and the attraction this time around is mutual. Maybe a “Fresh Restart” is just what they needed to get their happily ever after.
Josette stood at the stove, manning two large cast iron skillets frying four pork chops a piece. Two dozen baked potatoes sat on the bottom rack of the oven, and a huge tinfoil throw-away pan of fresh broccoli and cauliflower cooked on the top rack. Two dozen fresh-baked biscuits sat cooling near the stove, beside the eight pork chops she’d already fried. They were covered to stay warm, of course. Two gallons of sweet tea and two chocolate pudding pies were in the fridge.
She’d been cooking for a while now, to keep herself occupied. One of the things she’d missed most about being home were the big suppers, and with all the men working at the property behind them today, it was the perfect time for one.
The pork chops in the pan were quickly transferred to the plate, and Josette threw on a last round. If she’d counted correctly, there’d be 12 people – kids included – at supper. Twenty-two pork chops should be plenty.
“Like me to set the table?” Lily, Gunner’s wife, had come over with the children earlier today after coming back from her parents.
Josette nodded. “That’d be great, thanks.” As a second thought, Josette added, “Do you think you could set up the kid’s table, too? We’d probably all fit fine at the big table, but I don’t want things to get too crowded.” Lily nodded, her black hair moving together like a curtain as she did.
Josette was in the middle of flipping the pork chops over when someone came up from behind her. Strong arms grabbed her around the waist as she heard a deep voice in her ear. “Well, hey there, stranger.”
Josette jumped, startled. She turned around and looked into a pair of bright blue eyes that peeked out from a darkly suntanned face decorated with a scruffy five o’clock shadow. Curly black hair went every which way, and a faint scar decorated one cheek. He had grown considerably, but there was no mistaking him. “Walker Anderson! You scared the life out of me!” Josette shook her head as her heart still pounded.
Walker’s strong, masculine features broke into a boyish grin. “Well, Miss Josie Posey, it wouldn’t be quite a welcome unless I made your heart race. Now would it?”
“Don’t call me that. I’m not a little girl, anymore.” Josie placed her hands on her hips for a second, contemplating him before turning back to pull the pork chops from their pan.
“No, you’re definitely not that.” Walker grinned at her. “You’ve…. Filled out nicely.”
Josette shook her head. “Walker, if you’re gonna pick up on commenting on my assets like we were eighteen again, I’m not gonna let you have any of this food I made.” He’d always been a jokester. Let someone else say something about Josette’s assets, however, and all hell always broke lose.

Excerpt
Noah’s standing there with this wild, desperate look in his eyes. The heartbeat that I so carefully returned to normal speed kicks up again, pounding in my ears.
There’s just a moment, one beat of anticipation before he rushes forward, wrapping me up in his strong arms, pressing his lips against mine. He does some kind of magic ninja move, moving us inside the apartment without breaking the kiss. He kicks the door shut.
We kiss like our lives depend on it, like we’ll stop breathing if we don’t. My whole world narrows down to the softness of his lips, the taste of his tongue, and the silky feel of his hair threaded through my fingers.
I’ve kissed a lot of people in my life, but this feels like the first time I’m actually being kissed. It’s different, it’s…more, somehow. I know Noah feels it too, because the franticness gives way to softer, gentler kisses. I feel like I’m floating, like if the two of us completely drifted away in this moment, everything would be just fine.
We part too soon, totally breathless.
“I wanted to do that since I was fourteen,” he says, smiling. I think his post kiss smile is my favorite. The dimples are on display, he looks relaxed and happy. The best.
“I don’t think it would’ve been that good at fourteen,” I tease, playfully brushing my nose against his.
He laughs. “Probably not.”
His arms are wrapped around my waist, holding me close. It’s the safest feeling in the world. He squeezes me closer for a second, and then…
“I want you, Corinna. It’s just…”
“I know,” I breathe. I don’t want to hear all the reasoning for it right now. What I want is to take him to my bedroom and do the dirtiest things to him, then let him lay on me like a warm, sweaty human blanket. “It’s just once, to get it out of your system.”
“Once could never be enough.”

Release Date: March 26
Thirty days ago, I received an internship with a design firm in L.A.
One day ago, I kissed a hot businessman in a swanky bar and then left him with a fake name and number.
Today, that sexy stranger is my new boss, and he’s not too happy when he finds out my real identity.
But that doesn’t change the fire that lit between us and now I have six weeks of trying to resist Brody Jensen.
He might be out of my league, but I’d be out of my mind not to give in to the chemistry threatening to consume us.
I know Brody is breaking the rules for me, but he’s not the only one.
Because I swore I’d never fall for the type of man my mother always warned me about— a man who is married to his job.
Too late.

I have this issue where I find it hard not to like a favourite authors work. I try to figure out what is wrong with me that I didn't like it. And to be honest with the current pandemic feeling like the beginning of a Stephen king novel I'm putting half of it down to that. Because damn is the world distracting.
And to be honest I went into this with a lot of trepidation because I really didn't like the first book. I didn't hate the characters in this book, I just didn't connect with either of them. But like I said I didn't hate it and I did like the story I just had moments where the world distracted me.
I honestly believe if I read this at another time it would probably be a four star read but for now I am stuck on a 3 star rating.

I never dreamed I’d meet my celebrity crush while stealing every single pair of my best friend’s pants.
Attracting Aubrey, an all-new not-to-be-missed standalone romantic comedy from Wall Street Journal bestselling author Avery Flynn, is available now!
I never dreamed I’d meet my celebrity crush while stealing every single pair of my best friend’s pants.
Trust me, my life is not that wild. In fact, the most excitement I usually get is running my fan-favorite Insta thirst account featuring butt-tastic pics of Hollywood superhero Carter Hayes. So, imagine my shock when, in the middle of the cruise ship hallway, I realize the guy whose shirt I'm stuffing slacks inside of is Carter disguised as a tourist. How I manage not to faint dead away, I've got no clue.
When word leaks that Carter might be on board, he asks me to help him maintain his cover. There’s no way I’m gonna say no to that. I just don't share that I’m the anonymous woman behind the fan account that reported sighting him onboard. No biggie. Right?
However, when things between us go from friendly to hot to OMG-I-can’t-keep-my-clothes-on-around-him, all I can do is hope he never discovers my secret. You see, somewhere along the way, Carter went from an untouchable movie star to the man I’m falling for.

Excerpt
This was beyond a doubt the weirdest experience Carter Hayes had ever had and he'd once spent six hours on a green screen sound stage wearing a CGI suit and pretending to fight a one-eyed zombie giant with poisonous farts.
When he'd turned the corner and found the cute blonde giggling to herself as she pulled one pair of pants after another out of a suitcase, he thought she might be a little touched, as his grandmother used to say. When she held one pair up in the air and declared she was freeing Grace's sexy thighs, he figured she was drunk already. And just when he thought it couldn't get more bizarre, she managed to pull him in as an accessory to pants theft and now she wanted him to shove four pairs of pants down his shirt?
This was a mistake. It would only draw attention to himself when he was supposed to be observing others, not be observed. The last thing he needed was for anyone to realize that he wasn't mild mannered dental laboratory technician Carter Van Stettle from Iowa. This cruise was his opportunity to prove to indie-darling director Kennedy Howard that he could disappear into a part, that movie goers could look up at the big screen and see him as anyone other than The Admiral.
He was all ready to return the pants to their rightful owner and be on his way. It was the smart thing to do. Then, the thief beside him said please and, well, one could only play the most debonair superhero to ever top the box office for so long before some of the character stuck to them. He stuffed the stupid pants up his shirt and tucked the hem of it into his shorts to keep them from falling out. The special effects team on his last movie would have laughed their asses off, but the pants' paunch effect was actually pretty good.

About Avery Flynn
USA Today bestselling romance author Avery Flynn has three slightly-wild children, loves a hockey-addicted husband and is desperately hoping someone invents the coffee IV drip.
She fell in love with romance while reading Johanna Lindsey’s Mallory books. It wasn’t long before Avery had read through all the romance offerings at her local library. Needing a romance fix, she turned to Harlequin’s four books a month home delivery service to ease the withdrawal symptoms. That worked for a short time, but it wasn’t long before the local book stores’ staff knew her by name.
Avery was a reader before she was a writer and hopes to always be both. She loves to write about smartass alpha heroes who are as good with a quip as they are with their *ahem* other God-given talents. Her heroines are feisty, fierce and fantastic. Brainy and brave, these ladies know how to stand on their own two feet and knock the bad guys off theirs.

Ava Alise writes contemporary romances filled with DIRTY words, SWEET happily-ever-afters and a bunch of FUN. Her girls are sweet and snarky and her guys are sexy alphas who fall hard and fight harder. She is married to the love of her life and has two children. She enjoys a good laugh and will talk to just about anybody.
