Readers Retreats: A Lie for a Lie (All In #1) by Helena Hunting

So the blurb for this book was pretty perfectly written. I had a good idea of what I was getting into when I picked this up and I was spot on. But in saying that the journey to get there and the story once we did was great.

Rook is captain of Chicago which if your familiar with the Pucked series is home to all those awesome characters we already love. So I got a lot of Violet and Alex and Sunny and Bucky and everyone else which I loved.

Lainey was a little different than I expected and it just made me like her that much more. She was so strong in her vulnerability and I felt for everything that she went through.

And Rook was so sweet and I loved that he had matured from his former puck bunny sampling ways well before he met Lainey. It just made him so much more appealing to me that he learnt from his past and grew up all on his own.

I am so glad that the series is off to such a solid start and I can't wait to see who's next in the lineup of hockey hotties.
