After I read Trails of Love I was absolutely dying to know what happened with Trace and Brindle. Their whole relationship was a bit of a mystery to me and I wasn't really sure how everything was going to go.
And to be honest normally I wouldn't read this book because they were so on and off and the relationship angst between these two was enough to give me knots in my stomach. But I knew Melissa would fix my heart if it got broken in the process and I so desperately needed to know after the teaser I had to do it.
Now first I am going to give a warning. Immature idiots who say stupid things and have terrible communication skills are the main characters in this book. But as any parent knows those little lines on a stick covered in your own pee sure do make you grow up fast.
So I only had to roll my eyes a few times before these two got their shit together and were amazing. And even better than that was the whole town with their #teamtrindle and their love and support and crazy old sex mad nanas and general awesomeness.
Overall I really did enjoy this book and I think being a little hormonal when I read it didn't help as I teared up at the stupidest things but once Trace decided he was taking charge he gave great boyfriend and I fell so hard for that cowboy.
I am now just praying that Melissa has some amazing plans for Axsel because that's one book I can't wait to get my grabby hands on.
