I have to confess I read the blurb for this book and I wasn’t
excited like I normally am by a Corps Security or Hope Town novel. I don’t want
them to not be together or to fight the attraction, I don’t want one of them to
be ruined damn it. Then I got up and my pre order was on my kindle all shiny
and sparkly so I opened it up and it was a one sit read for me. I literally
couldn’t put it down.
I should have known that would be the case, all of Harper’s
books have been amazeballs.
So Nate was a bit of a dick for point two five seconds then
I loved him and wanted to have his babies. Honestly man bun and growling equals
massive ovary explosion for me.
And Ember was gorgeous. She was so open and loving and
forgiving and understanding and just all round sweet as.
But naturally we also got the full Corps Security line up
and the massive amounts of love they all show so openly you can feel it while
you’re reading the book. Along with all their different character quirks and hilarious
inside jokes. I love that these guys are so masculine and alpha yet so open and
accepting.
I absolutely love, love, love this series and of course the
original Corps Security series and if you haven’t read them yet I am scared to
ask what you were in prison for? But maybe now you’re out you can one click
them all and get reading ;)

Title: Shameless
Author: Lex Martin
Genre: Adult Contemporary Romance
Release Date: April 26, 2016
Blurb
Brady…
What the hell do I know about raising a baby? Nothing. Not a goddamn thing.
Yet here I am, the sole guardian of my niece. I’d be lost if it weren’t for Katherine, the beautiful girl who seems to have all the answers. Katherine, who’s slowly finding her way into my cynical heart.
I keep reminding myself that I can’t fall for someone when we don’t have a future. But telling myself this lie and believing it are two different things.
Katherine…

When Brady shows up on a Harley, looking like an avenging angel—six feet, three inches of chiseled muscle, eyes the color of wild sage, and sun-kissed skin emblazoned with tattoos—I’m not sure if I should fall at his feet or run like hell. Because if I tell him what happened the night his family died, he might hate me.
What I don’t count on are the nights we spend together trying to forget the heartache that brought us here. I promise him it won’t mean anything, that I won’t fall in love.
I shouldn’t make promises I can’t keep.
Shameless is an adult contemporary romance/spinoff featuring a character from The Dearest Series, but it can be read as a complete standalone.

Author Bio
Lex writes adult novels, the sexy kind with lotsa angst, a whole lotta kissing, and the hot happily ever afters. When she's not writing, she lives a parallel life as an English teacher. She loves printing black and white photos, listening to music on vinyl, and getting lost in a great book. Bitten by wanderlust, she's lived all over the country but currently resides in the City of Angels with her husband and twin daughters.

Book: Crossing The Line (The GEG Series #3)
Author: Jacquelyn Ayres
Genre: erotic romance/humor
Synopsis
Psychotherapist, Madelyn St. Claire, has all the answers. At least, that’s what the plaques on her wall say. There isn’t a fear she’s met that she hasn’t helped a client blast through. So, why can’t she work through her own?
Oh, that’s right…
She’s been so busy helping everyone else through their challenges over the years, including her best friends—the GEGs—that she never even realized she had any of her own true fears. Then again, she didn’t have a reason to until he came along.
Cellist, Declan Pierce, can hit all the right notes, as long as he’s hitting them on stage. When he’s off . . . well—he’s off. So, he keeps his head down and tries to stay focused on his career and his son, Hunter. They have shared in a trauma that would bring most closer. However, theirs has only weighted their bond down, slowly causing them to drift further and further apart.
That is until a beacon of light shines through.
That beacon is about five-foot-nothing, all curves, heart, brains, and no BS.
But that is only part of this story.
It’s a long road to Happily Ever After. Maddie and Declan learn that it takes more than just the two of them to get there, and it’s not a smooth stroll. It’s not meant to be, though, is it?
Life can give you whiplash. Buckle in and hold tight to those closest to you because, honestly…
Meet the Author
I am a domestic engineer (born and raised in NJ) whose sole responsibility is to guide three young, impressionable kids into becoming phenomenal adults. This challenging yet rewarding work requires a lot of love (coffee), patience (wine), and determination (periodic exorcisms). I work this magic from the beautiful state of New Hampshire.
Before becoming a domestic goddess (not really), I spent over a decade in the medical field, where I wore more hats than the Queen.
I have loved the written word and the great escape it provides since I was a little girl. When I wasn't reading about people and the places they lived, I was creating my own characters and adventures.
Finding myself again through my writing in The Lost & Found Series, The One, and The GEG Series has been nothing short of a dream come true. Also, it makes people feel better when I laugh randomly or talk to myself, knowing it's my characters and not "the voices" . . . that would be creepy.

After reading the blurb for this book I was absolutely dying
to get my hands on it. I am a total sucker for surrogate dads and I was so
hooked on Brady. I think I was already a little in love with him before I even
started reading. And let’s face it that cover didn’t hurt one bit either.
Kat was such a complete sweetheart, that as I read I fell for
her almost as much. I loved how much she cared about everyone around her and
despite the tragic circumstances that brought about their meeting she just
pulled up her big girl panties and set about trying to keep everything running.
She was so fierce and kept it all together, including
mothering the misfit of animals her beloved friend had adopted. I admit to a huge
girl crush over her love for the crazy racoon and abandoned kittens. But damn
Kat was awesome.
As with the Dearest series Lex has this amazing ability to drag me into the story and make me feel like I am living it with them as I laugh at their antics and ugly cry at their losses. And this book had me gripped tight until the very end. The depth of grief and guilt from these two that Lex’s amazing writing made me feel was as though I was mourning MY friend.
And I loved that Lex threw me a little curve ball at the
end by showing my dumb ass the connection to Finding Dandelion which has made
me want to go re read that to see if Brady was lurking there and I somehow over
looked him.
So hurry and one click this now cause it was awesome and if
you haven’t already checked out the Dearest series grab them while you’re at
it.
