Well it’s no surprise this book is amazing. The whole series
has been nothing but perfection and Levi was without doubt the sweetest and
most deserving of all the Carillo brothers.
I think going into this one, after having seen him go
through so much pain and heartache in his brothers books and knowing how pure
and innocent he was and the gentleness and pureness of his heart I knew he was
going to need to find extraordinary.
But of course after she made us like the previously hated
Axel I knew she would not disappoint me but damn did she blow it right out of
the park with this story. Add to that the continuation of the Carillo brother’s
reunion and Molly and Rome it couldn’t have been better.
In each of the books we have had not just amazing
characters but also an incredible story to accompany them all and getting to
see it from every one of their individual perspectives has been nothing short
of brilliant. How Tillie has not just brought each character to life but has
also made each of their struggles or issues so real and individual is awe
inspiring.
If like me, you started this series at the beginning you
know who Levi is and everything he has faced in his too short and way too sad
life and you want him to find a perfect angel. Instead he finds Elsie, and she
is far from perfect, she is even more broken than Levi is but she is such a
truly beautiful soul she compliments him perfectly.
As with every book in this series I needed to read it in a
safe place with a box of tissues handy and despite the fact I had to stop often
to clear the tears from my eyes so I could make out the words on my kindle I
loved every single word. I couldn’t put it down and this story will be with me
for a long time as each of the previous characters has.
If you haven’t yet started this series you seriously have
to race out and one click them all right now they are all 10 plus star reads.

This was a perfect, sweet and funny holiday novella that had me laughing out loud from the very beginning.
Sam was such a great character and he dealt with all the family drama so perfectly I was half in love with him from the moment he was groped in the foyer.
Noel’s family were classic. I loved them all so much I wanted to move in and join in the madness and mayhem. It was impossible not to love them all just purely for their quirkiness.
Noel was slightly on the annoying side but she did entirely redeem herself at the end and being a novella and such a funny one at that I didn't really notice until I tried to explain her now so I guess she gets a pass.
The amount of times I was in fits of laughter made this book worth every cent. If you're looking for a feel good sweet, sexy, funny holiday read you have to one click this.

Wow I am absolutely blown away that this is Scarlett Cole’s
debut novel. It was so well written and the characters were so well developed
and the story so gripping it felt like she has been doing this forever.
From the second I picked it up I was sucked in and I
couldn’t put it down until I had finished it at 3am this morning. Books like
this are why I read romance novels.
Unfortunately I was stupid and after reading the blurb I
figured this book was going to be super angsty and soul destroying and I put it
in the angst collection on my kindle and just haven’t been in the mood for
anything heavy since. But then yesterday I was in a mood and couldn’t figure
out what to read and this was the first one that jumped out at me and now I
have to confess I am a fucking idiot.
Despite the heavy theme and the sad circumstances this book
didn’t have me ugly crying (a few small tears don’t count right?) and I felt
nothing but warm fuzzies and love and hope for these beautiful characters.
Trent was beautiful and I loved that it wasn’t insta love but he felt a connection and he didn’t ignore it or do anything but build the connection and it just made me love him more and more and more. He was sweet and sensitive and just fucking perfect.
Harper started out broken and watching her growth and
strength was inspiring. She was such a beautiful, open, caring person from the
start but her journey was a hard one and I loved that she never gave in to her
fear or circumstances. Although most of the credit really should go to the
amazing and patient way Trent handled and treated her.
The secondary characters were such a part of the story I feel
as invested in them as I do Trent and Harper and I absolutely can’t wait until
January for the next installment in this amazing group of people.
However I am gonna be honest and say there were a few of my
pet peeves in this book that would normally have me spitting the dummy and
dropping this book to a 3 or 4 star rating they were completely understandable
and justified in this novel so I will mention them and build a bridge.
So heres my peeves.
Harper cried (a lot). I know that sounds cold the book is
about this traumatic thing she has been through that has led her to be standing
in front of Trent’s tattoo parlour but I am a suffer in silence, cry in your
pillow believer and Harper cried ………………… a lot. Now I can honestly say despite
the fact I am mentioning this yes it happened but when I found myself rolling
my eyes, rather than being annoyed at the book I was wondering WTF was wrong
with me that I was noticing she was crying and then I wanted to cuddle her and
give her chocolate and make it all better. So it worked and actually made me
respect her more. Weird right?
And the other thing is stupid misunderstandings from lack
of communication. Yeah this book had that. And normally that sends me off into
rant mode about the stupidity of humanity. But you know what they were stupid
misunderstandings but the lack of communication is 100% understandable and
added to the story perfectly rather than taking away from it.
So even though it had factors that are on my shit list this
book pulled a perfect 5 star rating because it made it well rounded and added
depth and made it more realistic and I loved it so hard, it will be with me for
ages.
You honestly need to run out and one click it right now.

Hmmm I am not really sure what to say or where to start with this one. I guess I should start at the beginning and for me that is Prick. I fucking loved it. And I had to read the rest of the series and to be honest it's been a little bit of a love hate relationship.
But as far as this book goes I think Sabrina summed it up when she said it was the most over the top of the series. And I absolutely agree with her but it's fiction and I enjoyed the over the top ness of the whole thing.
I loved the main characters and I loved the lack of drama and angst. And I was drawn in and invested from the very beginning. Albie was perfectly annoying and aggravating and entitled and just perfect. And Belle was frustrating and irritating and sweet and I really liked her.
Aside from Prince Albert’s Prince Albert I also loved that he was pretty damn good at the dirty talk and there was plenty of smoking hot sex to keep my panties wet.
But what I hated and what dropped my rating was the editing. And I am not referring to grammatical errors or spelling issues, I am talking about getting characters names WRONG repeatedly. Was the bodyguards name fucking Simon or Martin? Don't call the PR lady who is previously unintroduced by the main characters names. It pisses me off when I have to re-read a page repeatedly to realise it's a fuck up and it pulls me from the book for pages. And the bodyguards name had me flipping pages and ranting to my uninterested husband.
Ok rant over. Here's the thing, despite that I really enjoyed this book. But if you're going to have the same issue I did or if you can't stand an over the top storyline then maybe give this one a miss. That said I seriously did struggle to put this down today so if you think you can ignore those things this is well worth the read.
